Our trail guide Elizabeth was awesome! The scenery was beautiful and we were able to go through a few different creeks on a hot July day. Planning to go back again tomorrow! I have been riding my whole life and gone on trail rides many places and this was the most fun of all! They love their horses and spent time telling us stories about all of them. I would definitely recommend 🙂

Enjoyed the trail ride while on vacation. I was nervous due to a previous wreck that happened years ago (on my own horse) but thought this might help me get over it. Everyone was very helpful and encouraging. The horse (Kelly) was very sweet, and the ride meandered through some really pretty countryside with a view of Pinnacle Mountain. Lots of fun.

My son and I visited Chief Whitehorse approx 2 years ago and did not have the experience we were hoping for. I rode a very temperamental horse named Penny who would buck anytime another horse got behind her. Since I did not have any previous riding experience, I was surprised they would put me on a horse like her in the first place. In my opinion, Penny should not have even been an option as a trail horse for people who have very little riding experience. One of the trail guides must have been new because she kept riding her horse very close behind Penny, which caused her to buck at least 2-3 times while I was riding her. My son had a good time with his horse (don't remember the name,) but I don't think we will be going back. I also agree with the other reviewer who said the stables and grounds could have been cleaner.

Took the family to Chief Whitehorse and had a great experience. The guides were very helpful, friendly & watched out for you & your Horse. I felt safe the whole time. Their instructions were clear and concise The ride was very scenic. I would highly recommend Chief Whitehorse.

This trail ride was definitely an experience. The owner/operators were a hoot, and the ride itself was affordable and beauuutifull. You venture down hillsides, through rivers and fields...we even saw a deer and her fawn while riding.
I would say our trail was at least intermediate level though...not sure if they have anything tamer but I would be a little nervous taking my small kiddos. Overall great though!!

I really enjoyed this trail ride at Chief White Horse! The scenery is wonderful and the guide was very friendly! This is the best trail ride I have ever been on. The horses are sweet and so is the price for the experience that you receive. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning!

Absolutely horrible. Our main trail guide was very good, and all the other workers but one were very funny and outgoing. The youngest girl (Very sloppy looking) was extremely rude. She yelled at my mother the entire time because the horse she was on would not listen. My mother tried to take her advice but the horse was obviously not trained. The women talked trash about people on the ride and when we got back continued to talk trash to the other guides. Terrible experience I hope the fire that lady.

Fantastic! I took my 8 and 10 year old and they were friendly, they explained the instructions of the trail ride, the horses were easy to ride, my children were so happy with the ride, the price was absolutely reasonable and with the entire experience they want to go back tomorrow! We will definitely be back!
