Heading into week 6 of our larger Cincinnati press being down, part took weeks to ship, tech arrived the day they shipped the part so no part for him to install. Part came he eventually came back, said part is bad, another part has been sitting here awaiting a return. This is having a huge ripple effect to many of our clients as we are unable to complete their products. Not sure what happened to the company but this is unacceptable.

Absolutely no urgency for getting support. We are now three weeks in trying to get them to get a tech out, still no answer. If you like losing money with absolutely no idea when you will be able to start running again, Cincinnati Press Brakes are for you!

Update: going on 5 weeks now and Tech finally came out... still no resolution and can't even tell us when they will be back out to finally resolve.

I don’t know what happened to this company. We’ve had Cincinnati equipment for years with success. Now they’re awful. The technicians didn’t know what they were doing, it took weeks to get our machine back up after they left it damaged and non operational. Then we got a bill for the work 6 months later. I would never recommend a Cincinnati machine again.

Absolutely awful customer service. We had incorrect parts sent out TWICE and have yet to see a refund in almost 6 months.

We have had a Cincinnati Schear for years, been working two years to get some customer service, they want to charge way beyond what the machine is worth to troubleshoot and repair the machine, they did recommend a local, he came out and ghosted us after that. I would recommend going to someone else for Schears as there is not a such thing as customer service in this company. We are going to scrap our Schear, and look for something that has customer service. Sorry for the bad news.

My work and I drove down to Cincinnati from Willoughby to tour the facility and check out their press brakes. The facility, both, showroom and manufacturing floor, were very impressive.
Our main interactions were with very knowledgeable people. Any and every question I had, which was PLENTY, was answered and explained thoroughly.
We were allowed to see the inner workings of how these machines are built. Not only are they Made in America but, their service reps can be fairly local if we run into a problem. The machinery is also VERY modern in comparison to what I run and I was wowed to see how far technology has come in that aspect.

Thank you again for having us and we really appreciated everything! We will be making a decision after next week and getting back to you!

Avoid purchasing equipment from this company at all costs. They have China level products which they charge you as if they are good quality American products. I purchased a "Heavy Duty Backguage" on my press brake. Within a year, the fingers don't hold on anymore, fingers need to be adjusted constantly because the back Guage is no longer uniform across the full length.

Service for the machine is non existent. You should definitely plan that you will recieve zero support after purchasing the machine.

The machine has plenty of bugs that you just have to live with.

My best experience of purchasing equipment has been from Akyapak. Excellent service. Well made machinery. Definitely worth the price.

Horrible customer service for a company that has been around as long as they have. Would recommend getting a cheaper more supported machine from overseas. Horrible people to deal with after spending as much as out company has to have American made equipment, what a joke
