The good- the shuttle service to & from airport was great. The boat included in my self guide package was clean & ran great.
The bad, - this was my 3rd stay & my previous was 4 years ago. The place has gone downhill from before. Food is nothing to rave about, and very few choices. Its no longer self serve, but more like subway sandwich shop. The 1970's baseboard heat in our room was dangerously close to the bed. The bathroom door doesnt close & latch ( room #1) 1 electric outlet not near a table or stand.
No longer have soup during lunch hours.
No longer have frozen herring available, only old salted herring.
We lost fish due to a hole in our net provided on the boat. Went in and traded it for another net , which we later found out had holes as well.after 3 trips back to the dock, we finally got one that we could use. tackle provided was minimal at best.
The young people working the docks were awesome.
I'll be checking other places for my next trip.

Beautiful location, friendly, helpful staff, great food. This trip exceed all my expectations, and we loved hiking nearby (lots of berries to pick), seeing bears, catching crabs, and we came home with 90+ pounds of salmon, halibut and ling cod! Also visited nearby cultural sites and loved our time exploring the Ketchikan area. The Clover Pass team accommodated all our needs and went above and beyond to make our trip the best ever!

My son and husband just returned from here. The rooms were as minimal but nice hot showers. The mattress sunk almost to the floor it felt he said. So hardly any sleep. Food was delicious. Breakfast plenty to choose and start the day off great. Packing your lunches was Terrific. The dinners good at the end of an Amazing fishing filled day. Loved the outdoor big deck and activities. Plus what a view. Thanks for the live camera of the loading/unloading so I could get lots of pictures with about a 40 second lag. They supplied rain gear and did an amazing job cleaning and packing all their fish for the trip home. Truly a trip of a lifetime. But please get new mattresses ; )

Loved our time here between ferry rides. We stationed here and walked around, picking berries, seeing the sites. The space was a bit cramped, but what can you expect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time here fishing for 3 days. Not luxury, but who's looking for that on a fishing trip? The rooms were nice and comfortable. Food was good and there was lots of it. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I will most likely be making a return trip here for more fishing.

Been at Clover Pass fishing several times now. Always a good time and the help excellent. Planning again next Fall. Only drawback is the 'late' dinner! Needs to be much earlier, like 5:30 or 6p. Hope the dinner issue is resolved by the next time we show up... lol

Stayed 5 days and fished 4 days. The staff are great; friendly and helpful. The food is very good also. The rooms are Ok which is fine since you spend so much time fishing. They would help if they had blackout curtains and the walls were thicker. We fished with Axel Svenson. He is great! Helped us limit out on all species for 2 days and a bunch of fish the other days. He is helpful but will warn you if you do something that is not safe. He is a great captain and safety navigates rough seas. Get Axel and you will be happy!

We loved this resort. The staff were way nice and super helpful. The office staff, shuttle driver, dock crew, and restaurant staff were all awesome. They all did a great job. Our fish were processed perfectly and everything went great. They were super understanding with getting us setup on our boat and pointing us the right direction with fishing spots and proper gear etc. There were a few changes we had to make last minute and they were super accommodating. We did a charter boat with Rick one day and that was the most amazing fishing ever. Me, my dad and my two brothers had a GREAT time. The food was awesome as well. Thanks!!!
