Imagine writing a beautiful horse through twisting trails up and up… And suddenly displayed in front of you is the breathtaking coastline, the rolling green hills, high above the fields below. The cloud banks over the ocean. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a hawk, soaring not so high above, As you sit atop your horse, on the crest of one of the highest of the hills around. You come down different trails, never seeing the same scenery, Except for that wide blue and white expanse of the coast, all of your views, glorious and wide open.

Your host is Davd, funny and affable, his easy-going attitude, camouflaging an ever watchful eye on you and your horse, ensuring your safety… perhaps even offering you tips on Horsemanship. He has already given you an excellent mount, chosen with your abilities and the horse’s temperament in mind. On the trail, David will regale you with stories and the local history, and definitely a Cowboy song or two feel free to sing along!

We had the best time on our trail ride with the Ember Ridge crew in beautiful Rancho Corral de Tierra! Could not recommend the experience more highly.

Knowledgable and welcoming staff, beautiful well-cared-for horses, and a FUN time out on the trails thanks to our wonderful guides.

I've known Dave, Brenda & Maria for a while now!!! All 3 of these Wonderful people truly care about their Horses, Each other and their community!! Knowing this carries over in how they are on the trails as well!!! They know their surroundings... They communicate... Dave explains where you are, what you're looking at.. And Definitely make one feel comfortable on and off their respective saddles. Just as FYI... there were two equestrian in our group. Dave made them feel very much respected in regards to their background and knowledge!! He didn't force them to do anything that was uncomfortable!!
Our trail ride was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and I would ride with them anytime and in a heart beat!!
Please Everyone who is reading this, go ride a horse with them! I promise, You won't regret anything!!
