The new owners' commitment to quality shows in every detail, from the spotless rooms to their quick response to any issues. Located in a peaceful area, it’s the perfect place to unwind.

Tow unfriendly eastern europeans who are managing and running this place are inexperienced and incompetent and don’t have any clue about hospitality and hotel business but just know how to make money , they charge same amount of money like other hotels but there is no breakfast for guests, few rusty appliances are setting in lobby one pot had coffee old more than week no regular washing of pots, in ground they have kitchen it’s in very bad condition with big pile of dirty dishes, the lobby has limited sitting area but it is full of garbage like boxes with few chairs and dining table no sofas, no daily room service, no parking space outside, if anyone goes there for business or anything else just go to Sheldon another town close to primghar where different nice hotels and fast food options are available

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Cobblestone Court Hotel in Primghar! Our room was very spacious and clean! The hotel has a nice kitchen area and a very nice recreation/dining room that we enjoyed each day of our stay. We really appreciated the staff, they were very helpful and accommodating, we will definitely stay here during our next visit!

We stayed at Cobblestone Court and throughly enjoyed our stay! The manager was friendly and helpful. He is a very personable young man. Our bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and attached bathroom was nice. We plan to use this hotel again in the future

The rooms down stairs are a " community living" style. There are 2 bathrooms to 8 beds. One of the bathrooms is located in the guest laundry room, that is accessed through one of the bedrooms. This caused some security issues. We politely asked if arrangements could be made to accommodate us in the upstairs rooms (there seem to be private bathrooms in this area) we were told by the manager/owner "Get out! I don't have time for this!" He was very disrespectful to my wife.

A frequent visitor to Primghar, I was hoping for a new home away from home. The son of the new owner did not have any small town charm. The room was tiny, seemed clean but was missing amenities such as a garbage can. Primghar has terrible water and I really hoped to have been welcomed with a bottle of water for the cost of the room. The locks on the doors are basic, and I worried about strangers in the hall ways at night as there was no lighting. For the cost, I'll bring my air mattress next time. Was totally hoping for more!

My wife and I recently stayed at The Cobblestone Inn (formerly the Thompson Arms). The rooms and lobby were very clean, and the staff was very friendly. There have been many upgrades and we would recommend this hotel. Great little cafe next door too.

Was Traveling through the small town of Primgar Iowa. Happened to stop into a small American Owned Motel called the Cobble Stone Court. Very Surprised. The Owner is a Computer Software Engineer named Mark.
The place from the outside looks old, but once you enter inside it is very nice and Modern and clean. The Rooms are awesome Flat Screen TVs and a full kitchen lounge area downstairs along with a Pool Table and large Flat Screen TV and Big Sofas. The furnishings all appear to be New as well as the Carpet. Looks like a Holiday Inn Express.
Very Impressed. Wow! You can Cook Down Stairs and. The TVs in the Rooms have a large Channel Line up Menu.
You just don't come Across Mom and Pop. American Owned Small Motels everyday. They are a hidden Gem. Definitely stop in and see Mark
Or his Son Drew if you need a room for the night or Longer. Good solid People.
I highly recommend this place to all Travelers and Truckers that need a break from the Road and want to enjoy the Comforts of a nice Modern Clean Room that is almost like a very nice Bed and Breakfast. Also urge any work Crews or Construction guys near the area that are working that need full cooking facilities and good WiFi and Direct Tv
This is Really decent. The Owner got this place a couple years ago. There were some past reviews that were less Than desirable. Please disregard these past reviews that were written two years ago as they simply do not apply to the Good Folks that own and operate this place now.
Places such as the Cobble Stone Court are becoming fewer and fewer
As the years go by.
