I definitely agree with other reviews that the rooms are very old looking which is a shame because the staff are outstanding. Very easy check-in and check out and the breakfast was decent too. They had egg and cheese omelets along with sausage. I have stayed at all other Choice hotels in the area and may choose to return here just for the service as the other hotels may be a little nicer, but the service was not good.

I don't normally write reviews, especially poor ones. However I feel compelled to do this one .

Please do not stay at this hotel. It is disgusting. I have added photos so that you can see the reality of this situation. Please zoom in to see the total disrepair.

The bathroom was so disgusting that I couldn't even shower in it. I could barely use the toilet. As you can see it looks as if someone poured paint in the toilet and the seat is chipped. The picture behind on the wall is cracked. There's mold in the tub. The tub needs to be resurfaced and rather than do that they just threw a bath mat over it. I did not even want to step in the tub.

The carpet had not been tacked down and someone could have easily tripped, fallen and hit their head. To leave it this way and in this disrepair is dangerous.

I will say the bed was comfortable. I had no problem with the staff or the service either.

But there was also a weird smell in the room. It was musty, probably mold.

I'm not writing this review to be mean or disrespectful. I'm writing this review because I don't want anyone else to have this same experience. This hotel should not be allowed to rent these rooms.

The friends that I was traveling with who booked the hotel said there were no other hotels in the area this weekend. I can see why there were rooms at this hotel.

Traveling with kids.
Staff is exceptional. Accommodating, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was also stellar. Huge variety of options. Kids enjoyed it very much.
Pool area was not fancy and needed a bit of cleaning but kids don't care and had a great time swimming.
Room was clean but smelled of very strong of mildew and carpet felt really damp. Facility is older and needs upgrades ASAP obviously, but the staff and breakfast made the stay just fine for a cheaper hotel option.

Stayed for a family gathering.
Location worked great. Staff was friendly, helpful, great set up for breakfast.

Room felt tired, but reasonable for the price.
Decent size room, could use a refresh.

Bed was decent, not great. Pillows and comforter were great.
Shower pressure and temps great. Towels decent.
Ac cooler, but slowly. Smelled moldy.

Quiet room, orientation of the building generally helped to keep roadway noises to a minimum. Window lacks adequate shade, wall light on adjacent building shone through the shear curtain.

I would not want to pay more than 100 per night for the room.

This hotel was conveniently located and very quiet. The beds were comfortable and our room was very quiet. The staff was friendly. The facility could use a lot of TLC and a new coat of paint is not enough. The to on our room has chips and some black mold around it where it meets the wall. The room was very cramped. Lastly, the breafast offered could use more healthy options. Cereals were geared towards children. With a little work this could be a high rated location.

Very dated hotel which was dirty, and dingy. Many of the rooms smelled of smoke. The bathroom shower had hot water but low pressure. The room was dirty including the carpet and tiles. The door towel holder was attached by one screw and nearly fell off. The door stop was smashed into the panel and broken. The shower leaked on to the floor. The food was below average. The only good aspect of the stay: the hotel people were nice and helped as best they could.

This place was ok at best. The rooms were very dark and damp and smelled like mold. The carpets felt dirty and the shower and toilet was also scratched and dirty, and the shower did not drain. The free breakfast is limited but ok. The staff is friendly but I did not have a towel in my room for multiple days of my stay despite requesting one at the front desk. I’m sorry to leave a negative review but this is my best constructive criticism for the establishment as I believe it has potential and is in a convenient location.

My company made the mistake of booking 10 of us in this hotel for a business trip. Must’ve missed the part that said 2 star hotel. The complimentary lemon water in the lobby, though a nice perk to offer, tastes dirty.

The wall paper in the lobby is pealing. Don’t be fooled by the pool picture the hotel provides, that floor paint is peeled in big chunks of areas.

My co-worker said the carpet in her room is soaked with some liquid and can’t walk barefoot at all, so her room was changed (at least that helped), but to another room just as gross with a dry carpet.

In the middle of the night I heard rattling in the walls, figured mice or rats were running around in there. They also woke me up in the morning (see first video). Refer to videos for the rest….

PS, just read a review below from a Denise, and I can confirm my room had almost all the same issues. Then I saw “Managements” response to Denise’s review and just laughed at the immature nature with which the situation was handled. What false negative reviews? The proof is in the pictures. Denise didn’t complain about staff or service, she expressed concern for the disgusting smells and poor upkeep. Instead of getting defensive either shut down the hotel for a renovation or do better with upkeep little by little. Taking accountability goes a long way, and that response wasn’t it.
