We had such an incredible time with Captain Matt on our boat ride. Matt was an amazing captain and took great care of us. He knew the best locations to go to on the water. The boat is beautiful and we enjoyed using the swim mat he took out for us. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going on another charter with him in the future.

We seriously had picture perfect weather for this sunset cruise. The weekend before was raining & we had no trouble rescheduling. We were in capable hands with Captain Matt who recommended where to dine prior & invited us to BYOB on our voyage. He even played photographer & took great pics of our group. We had a bit-o-trouble finding his slip but it was smooth sailing from there!

My brother-in-law had an amazing experience with Matt with the Boat he bought at the beginning of the 2024 summer.

A couple months later When I bought my 37 foot Formula from a broker in New York, I called Matt right away. He was beyond responsive, very knowledgeable, and made My Wife and I feel very comfortable having him drive the boat from New York to Massachusetts by water. He communicated with us and kept us up-to-date with everything. I cannot recommend him anymore for any needs you may have.

I reached out to him two weeks after he dropped my Boat off with a couple questions and he remembered my boat perfectly and walked me through a couple things.

The best routes to navigate for the smoothest calmest conditions and not to forget the best views that can only been seen from the water. We had a friend visiting from out of town and as kind of a last minute idea, we decided to spend a special evening on the water. Captain Matt and Compass Charters delivered. With a storm brewing out at sea, the Sound was unexpectedly choppy – but Captain Matt was still able to deliver a lovely sunset cruise in spite of that. He took us in and out of coves, and up the river. He gave us a tremendous view of another side of the coast line that we normally don't get to see. Not only were the views great, but Captain Matt was also gracious, kind, friendly, and generally really lovely. The boat itself was very comfortable, with soft seats, a warm blanket and access to a spacious head. Most of all, despite the uncharacteristic 5 foot waves in the sound, we felt safe under Captain Matt's expert care. Thank you for a special sunset evening!
