"Carpe Diem" was the theme our Tour Director Steve Fowler told us as we began our whirlwind tour of Europe. And sure to the word's meaning, we truly did "cease the day"! Every minute counted, from rest stops to waking up early to being on time as we returned to the bus. Loved it! Tour Director Steve was witty, funny, and knowledgeable (would be an understatement.... more like a walking encyclopedia). Enjoyed the small size of our group (39), each of us was different, from individuals to families from different parts of the world. We toured all the major sites in Europe, with Steve scoring tickets to the inside of the Colosseum, which is very hard to get I heard. Even after returning home a week later, my brain is still processing all the places we visited. This trip is designed to give you a glimpse of all the fantastic places in Europe. No lollygagging folks! Cannot say enough good things about Steve and his hard work putting this together for all of us. He made it easy for us to enjoy the optional tours, explaining in detail why he chose the ones he did. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I traveled with my family of four, including an 8-year-old, the youngest of the group, and she thoroughly carpe diem!

Absolute worst tour company imaginable. Do not trust their “guaranteed departure” dates. Our tour demanded payment for a guaranteed departure and then conveniently canceled our entire tour due to “lack of participation” one week later. The tour was supposed to depart 6 weeks later. If there was a lack of participation, why did you make the rest of us pay thousands of dollars for a “guaranteed departure” that was already at risk. The company then took the full 90 days to refund us our money. 90 days to recoup $4000 on top of having to pay to make last minute adjustments to our already booked flights and hotels since the tour wasn’t happening. We ended up squeezing into a similar Globus tour that left a week later and had to pay out of pocket to extend our trip and rearrange our PTO days. We were $4000 short on our trip because Costsaver took a ridiculously long time to refund us. Costsaver ruined our trip and I would never recommend this scam of a company to absolutely anyone. I should have listened to the Facebook reviews more closely.

I've traveled to Europe with this company twice and had great experiences across the board. I have shopped around a lot for value travel, and CostSaver can't be beat in my opinion! Their tour directors were great and made the trip go very smoothly. I felt very well taken care of the entire time. Hotels are often not city center, but by the end of a busy day, that's not a big deal because you'll want to take it easy after a busy day touring.

If only I can give NO STARS, then I will! We (6 people) reserved for a 12-day Iberian tour 7 months prior to the planned date. We already filed vacation leave, bought plane tickets for the dates. Soon as we paid full 3 months prior, we received an email saying the tour was canceled for another schedule and they were asking us to join another date! Duh?! It isn't that easy coz we have work too! ?
One thing that is fishy and suspicious, the account we created about this tour schedule has disappeared so we had to call costumer service. We were assured a refund within 30days.
We have been going to other Europe tours as DIY. This is our first time doing with a tour agency but we felt scammed.

Our experience was a wonderful one. Hotels were clean but off beaten path but close enough to take taxi to and explore on your own. Was a very fast paced tour and saw so much with lots of walking. The only problem I had was with a car service that was recommended, Suntransfer, which did not show up for pickup and now refuse to refund me. They provided no service, so want my money back $70 us dollars. This reflects on your company as I used them due to your recommendation. If you can assist, would be greatly appreciated. Suggest you do not recommend Suntransfers. There was another person in my tour group that their driver did a no show. Their reviews also have many that this has happened to. They have just stolen my money because they gave me no service. Do not ever recommend Suntransfers to any of your customers.

We had an amazing experience on the European Cavalcade Tour! Our tour guide, Jonathan, was witty, knowledgeable, and did a fabulous job taking care of us on our 3-week tour! We had a spectacular experience! We were so happy with our experience that we've booked another coming up soon. Highly recommend this tour company!

They should have been named “Cost-gouger”. My overseas trip ends on a Friday in April and I called this morning to extend trip to the following Monday. Was told since airfare had already been ticketed the couldn’t refund the difference since I was coming home on a Monday instead of f Saturday. So, I call back a few hours later to go ahead and book airfare only to be told price went up and was going to be $540.00 extra. Ugh. Oh, and Costsaver also charges you more for extra hotel nights. They were going to charge me $198 per night for a room and I said no. I booked the same hotel thru Priceline for $142

I booked my trip for June2023 and paid full price by March 3st over $3700.00.Somehow they withdraw the tour and on Apr 2nd. It's been over 25 days and still haven't got my credit back yet. I been calling twice a week and all they said is it's been processed. Two times I got into really rude staff member. I had tour with different company before and never had this kind of experience. I just did cause they had a my destination matching with my travel dates. I will never ever book my tour and never advice my friends and family to do so. I need my money back which I work hard for it.
