1st time here for Thanksgiving break. Really nice and clean facility. We checked in later than expected and Meg helped us with no issues! My sister needed a shower curtain (cleaners forgot to replace it after servicing her room)--she got a new one from Meg along with 2 random recipes! I miss this amazing Midwestern kindness and socializing.

Quiet overall and private area in South Sioux. About 15 min away from downtown Sioux City. Cleaning ladies were so kind, breakfast wasn't anything crazy but okay in a pinch.

Both our rooms bathtubs didn't drain too well, but it seems like this is a common issue guests have here. Water was nice and hot, air-conditioning in rooms. Parking was always available. I forgot some crafting yarn after checking out and they called twice just to let me know and offered to hold it for me! I was too far away by then, but I truly appreciated them calling me about it. We will definitely be back!

Best thing I can say about this hotel is that it was very clean, which is important and why I gave it at least 3 stars. However, the beds were super hard and uncomfortable--we had a rough night. No matter how far we turned the heat down, the room was very hot. The bathroom door didn't want to close. The breakfast was cold. We had paid for two nights but booked another hotel for the second night. It's not fun to travel when you feel rotten the next day because you couldn't sleep.

Also, something to note is this hotel does not have a pool. My husband had booked the hotel, and we had planned on taking our granddaughter swimming until we realized there was no pool. The hotel does not claim to have a pool, so that mixup was in no way their fault. I only mentioned it so other folks don't think, like my husband did, that "all hotels have pools." Again, not the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of.

Stayed for one night, just wanting a place to sleep after a long drive - without anything fancy. And I was looking for the least expensive, as I just wanted a bed. I couldn't have asked for a better place! Staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean, and location wasn't out-of-the-way. It's listed as a 2-star hotel, but the cleanliness alone, warrants a 3-star rating.
Stayed in a king bedroom. The room was small, but had a coffeemaker, microwave and mini-fridge - and of course, a large TV. The bathroom and room itself were both spotless - not even a spec of dust! The bed was very comfortable, and there were about 4 or 5-different pillows, so you could select the one that worked for you. And it was QUIET!!! No road traffic sounds, no hearing people coming and going from their rooms - just peace and quiet.
There were a couple of nearby hotels that were cheaper, but after reading the Google reviews, I knew this was the place to stay. I won't hesitate to reserve a room at the Cottonwood Inn, the next time I'm coming through Sioux City.

This is a very nice hotel. I was on an extended road trip and stopped in the area for a few days. A a solo traveler I felt very safe. Nice, clean, quiet hotel. Randell was at the counter to check me in I have a problem with stairs and he was able to get me a nice room with no issues.
Breakfast is limited biscuits and gravy offered but didn't offer any yogurt or bagels usually a basic offering.

It kind of you get what you pay for. It’s not a bad place. It’s just a 2 star place. The room was not bad. It was pet friendly Small breakfast. For a road trip not a bad stop. Staff was friendly. .. free parking is a plus. South side of town . Easy access to highway.

This is a working mans type of hotel. Lots of trucking and construction type clients. The room I was in was clean but dated. On the positive side, it was cleaned every day unlike most hotels these days. The down sides are its nosey. You can hear thru the walls and being in a downstairs room, I could hear the guest above me walking across his hardwood floor. The breakfast offerings leave a lot to be desired. Waffles and some biscuits and just a little bit of gravy in the bottom of a pan. I've seen much better. One of my last nights there, there was a wedding at 10 PM. All the bridesmaids were in a room directly across from me yelling, laughing and just having a great time. I complained to the front desk about the noise and nothing was done. It quoted down around ten, then at 130AM, here we go again with the door opening and slamming, yelling, loud talking, etc. The wedding party rented the conference center and should have had their party there, not where people were trying to sleep.
