For breakfast the Philly steak and cheese omelette here is my favorite. For lunch, my go to is the double bacon cheeseburger. They put bacon on both patties. I always get them with a side of sweet potato fries. Their sweet potato fries are up there with McDonald’s regular fries. They cook them perfect every time. I like how they give you a very big soda glass so you don’t really need to ask for a refill. This place is one of those Streator gems. It’s classic. The staff is always friendly. Very cozy relaxing restaurant. The food, no matter what you get, is always good here.

Awful service with even worse food. My wife and I ended up having 2 waitresses, the first was rude and could barely speak English. We had no salt on the table, ketchup was empty, and all the food was incredibly bland and lacking in every way possible. The gravy on the country fried steak was pasty white goo with no flavor! I ordered 2 over easy eggs, one was cooked properly the other was severely over cooked. And just like the steak, nothing had any seasoning on it! The bathroom was filthy with urine on the floor and toilet had fecal residue on it, along with having no trash bag in the can and no paper towels. Would give this place 0 stars if possible. Do Not Eat There!!!!!

I just moved here and was finding a good place to eat and luckily found this cute restaurant, the breakfast is so good especially the pancakes! Everyone who works there is very friendly and are always going out of their way to make sure everyone is enjoying their food and having a nice time 🙂 I really recommend this place if you’re near!

Unassuming on the outside but very nicely decorated. We only had simple breakfast items, but the food was hot, arrived quickly, and was good. Prices were great.

excellent place to go to lunch with family we stayed a few days on vacation by streator and we found the restaurant we were delighted by its service the waitresses were very friendly and the food very good no doubt to go to breakfast there is no better place than the Country Cupboard

food didn’t have much flavor… the First Lady that waited on us was rude… the Second Lady was a sweetheart! The atmosphere was very dingy… bathrooms were nasty… we will never go back again…

Used to be great. Over the last 6 months theres been dozens of people seeing cockroaches coming out of the wainscoting around the room. My husband watched roaches walk 1/3 of the way up the wall and the wait staff did nothing. Told them we saw bugs and the brushed us off. My family does not go there anymore.

Food was excellent, coffee was good, staff were very friendly and good at what they do, and the bathrooms were clean. My Mom said it was one of the best sausages and gravies she's ever had. My breakfast burrito was also incredible. They put hash browns in it, so good! 5/5
