Having travelled to third world countries, I’d call this acceptable. There were things missing from the room when we first arrived. No bath soap or tissues, no teabags or coffee in the room. The room key to the gym wasn’t working. There were random stains on the hall carpet. Toilet made a high-pitched squeal whenever it refilled.
In the public restroom near the gym, the “safety” bars were improperly installed, having only one bolt out of three… !

At the same time, the clerk was friendly, the heat worked great, breakfast was good and on-time, the room was very clean. It was a good place to crash for a night.

This was a beautiful little place nestled in the woods of a little town in Ohio. The staff was friendly, the room was huge It was asleep and it literally had everything we needed.

In my opinion, that's all required to get five stars usually. But the guy who checked us in he was friendly and he also gave me a smile that will get you five stars almost automatically for me.

In other ways good customer service. Smiles are universal and they can definitely get you five stars from me. They did have hot and continental breakfast which is always a plus.

Overall I really enjoyed our stay at this place We stay at hotels at least 3 to 4 times a month we've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly... not really the ugly we go by reviews 😂

The Plus was the fact that they allowed us to park our rig in their lot. We didn't have our trailer but their lot was big enough to get our rig in a 53 ft trailer out without any damage.

Room was spacious and recently renovated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking lot is fenced in with bright lighting. I got a good nights rest and no issues with my stay. A good value for the price.

Very unprofessional staff. Ask the staff what their names were? they didn’t tell me. ask the staff what his manager’s name was? he didn’t tell me. All because I called them about my medication that left in my room on Dec 25,2024 has a very high street value! and no one turned it in.
He then proceeded to tell me that he trust his staff and (what does that mean to me?)absolutely nothing! he doesn’t know his staff.
He doesn’t know his staff, he KNOWS what they show him as we ALL DO! and NOT what they do at home.
I don’t know them, but I do know that my medicine hadn’t been turned in. I asked you for corporation’s number They said they didn’t have a corporation then he hung up, asked for the rooms the funky bark smell that linger also, why are the doors on the bathroom in the front door 2 inches from the ground where anybody can look up under the doors into the rooms! As well as LOUD SOUNDS! I am further invested in making a report with the police in That area of pickerton. I’ve called other hotels with same name to find out how to notify corporate of these Shananigans! I was so glad that they Alll Were very apologetic and helpful! Go to any other of there hotels! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHANTY TOWN of a Motel.

Ok .. The reviews for this hotel are really mixed but I have to give it a thumbs up. First, if you are looking for perfection, I suggest you look elsewhere. However, if your looking for a clean room and a good value, this hotel is fine. Were there imperfections in the room - yes. Were there areas outside that should be cleaned up - yes. But the room, while basic, was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was what I've grown to expect in these class hotels, and the staff was friendly. Best part was that it was $60 a night cheaper than other hotels in the area I had considered. All in all I thought it was a good deal. We didn't have any complaints during the 6 nights we stayed.

The hotel issued my debit card security deposit refund on 9/19/24. It is now 10/11/24, and I still have yet to receive my refund. I didn’t think I had to budget a month in advance to gauge when I’d receive my security deposit! BE AWARE OF THIS BECAUSE I WAS TOLD DIFFERENTLY AT THE FRONT DESK. I wasn’t told it might take up to 22 business days to refund the security deposit on my debit card until I called 2 weeks later.

Use to be a good place to stay . Staff is very rude . Older white lady has nasty mouth & very racist . Not safe to wash clothes in guest laundry room . People will take your clothes out . SNEVER WILL STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN .

Well first off, I’m happy I decided to go with my first mind and not listen to the reviews because I drove 2 hours for this hotel. As a platinum member I have high expectations and this hotel was great. Newly renovated, nice large room with a 65 inch tv in the living area and bedroom. Comfortable bed. Average breakfast. Thank you guys
