Good hotel with everything in working order during our stay. Not much in the way of frills but its selling point is location. But its best feature is Michelle at the front desk. She is competent, cheerful, genuine and personable in a way that is surprisingly rare in the hospitality profession. The way she interacted with all of the hotel guests really set the tone for our stay. I hope hotel management knows what a gem they have!

This hotel was very close <10 min from Yale and was very conveniently 30 minutes walk from the Metro station. Michelle was very friendly and accommodating my check in at around 10pm and the rooms were spacious and clean. Overall a great value hotel with great service to Yale.

I want to first thank Kenneth Gribbon for taking care of our companies room block from start to finish! Ken has also gone above and beyond to take care of us even after our stay.
We are a pretty big domestic & international group with a lot of requests due to the type of work we do and all our needs were met with 0 issues!
The customer service, hospitality, cleanliness of rooms and overall experience was genuine and above exceptional.
Anytime myself or my team are in New Haven we will be staying here!
Thank you to Ken and the amazing staff once again 🙂

Everybody was so kind and the cleanliness of my room and bathroom were great! I had a very easy, comfortable stay. Loved the restaurant, whether it was for a meal or my favorite Starbucks beverage! Great service and friendliness from all staff members I encountered during my stay.

Excellent location within minutes of Yale, shopping, good food and the hospital. Cassandra the bartender is fantastic. She’s pleasant, hard working and very friendly. Only complaint was that the bathrooms are a bit small. Otherwise fantastic stay. P.S. New Haven is well known for their pizzas. A visit to Pepe’s, Modern and Sally’s is a must.

Ordered food from the Bistro … we waited patiently for over 90 minutes and our food wasn’t delivered. We ordered very basic food, e.g., quesadilla, sandwich, pre baked cookies, hummus/veggies. The food prep should not take 90+ minutes. Horrible service and incompetent staff. We won’t be coming back… not Marriott or Courtyard’s standard.

Visiting my old school campus so I am very familiar with the neighborhood. I picked this hotel because it’s relatively quite area. However, we couldn’t sleep at all because the room has no soundproof at all. The next door guests was parting with loud music, and even if they were told to turn off the speaker at 2AM, still countinue talking loudly until the sunrise. No basic amenities provided. For the cleaning matter, glass flakes founded on the carpet. Very unpleasant staying, unfortunately. Also $25 parking fee for even hotel guests.
