Great location. Very nice hotel. Very clean. The desk people always greeted us when we came into the hotel. The valet service was very efficient. FYI-it’s a hotel Starbucks so limited offerings. Loved that we could walk everywhere. Only negative was how expensive it was but worth it to be close to everything. Glad we choose it.

Wonderful experience. Perfect location on a super cute street with lots of restaurants. Very clean with a quint bar and Italian restaurant in the lobby. Special shout-out to Yuri at the front desk for exceptional service and hospitality.

On the positive side, a good location, a large room with a sofa, a nice breakfast with a friendly waitress., a clean and well equipped bathroom. |The experience there is unfortunately not really positive mainly because of a lack of attention to details: hotel staff was professional but lacked a bit of warmth, most USB sockets did not work, the coffee machine was a good attention but it would have been nice to have 2 cups, the valet parking attendant did not even offer to help with the luggage. |Really a pity not to better enhance this hotels’ assets.

A good measure of a hotel is a long-term stay. I was at the Courtyard for a month due to business. First class both front- and back-of-the house. Comfortable rooms with all the right touches. Solid bed, clean and bright bathroom. Great area close to all restaurants, major shopping and transportation. Will be back!

We went for a marriage retreat with our church and we’re blown away by the amazing hospitality we received. The front desk workers were so friendly and helpful. The cleaning service workers were so nice too! Will go back!

This hotel is very central to UCONN as well as a lot of shops and restaurants. The rooms were very spacious and clean.
2 things that bugged me and this is a marriott Bonvoy issue more than this particular hotel but in this hotel there is no courtyard. Every courtyard hotel has a courtyard. This hotel idea of a courtyard is putting a table on the side of the parking lot. Maybe they should change this hotel to another one of its brands.
2, we arrived without a reservation. I asked the front desk (who was nice) the walk-in rate and the point value. She told me it was $250 but I had to book it online. I went to book it online and it came up to $300. Why would I not be able to book right then and there? But I digress.
Definitely visit this hotel for it's clean and central.

I stay at Marriott hotels way too much. LT Platinum with current Titanium status. These rooms in general are quite nice and well maintained. The terrace rooms are newer and very nice. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Stamford lacks great hotels. Of the Marriott lot, this is easily the best. My problem with this hotel are the curtains: I come in from the West Coast, and as soon as it gets light in CT, the room is bright. The blackout curtains just don't do their jobs and let light in all over the place. Seems like an easy fix. These guys can't get it done for some reason.
If you are an East Coast traveler on ET, this may not be a problem for you.

Valet was horrible. Texted the number they said to text to get our car. Waited 40 minutes and then find out that texting doesn’t work. Makes no sense and wasted a lot of time. Everything else was nice tho. Just really really hated the valet system.
