I will share my experience with this company and my nearly 2 years of employment for those who are interested in applying here. If you have DSP experience, you know what to expect here. First off I’ll address negatives.. There is definitely a big problem with communication here whether it be on the DSP side or office side. Sometimes it’s really not that bad, but it becomes a game where both sides blame each other and point fingers within or outside of their respective groups. Coworkers can either be your best friend or secretly your worst enemy. People are quick to make assumptions, gossip, and just overall keep a negative attitude about the place they work, so it’s hard to trust them. A lot of the coworkers you deal with may not be courteous or even hold themselves accountable for their daily tasks, and management isn’t quick to punish others when consistently doing mediocre. It may just be a Ottumwian thing, but it’s something to think about. All of these things can lead to stressful , and confusing situations that can affect you outside of work. Here are the positives. The work you do is very fulfilling, and not everyone is out to get you here. I felt like I had a real work family here, and it was hard for me to say goodbye. You will meet coworkers and clients that you will grow to care immensely about. The shifts are usually nice and smooth, and there is always opportunities to make overtime. Occasionally you might have to get your hands dirty, or get out in the community to run errands/ activities with clients which is nice. They have really flexible schedules here! It was a perfect mix between work and personal time. Benefits included, and opportunities for bonuses. They make you feel welcome, and so do your clients. It was the best job I ever had so far , and paid very well. I would recommend applying here with the negatives in mind.

My family member lived here and it was nothing but issues. This place is not the place for your loved ones. Please consider another place. We got our loved one out and they are doing much better!

Poor management and run. They will be loosing a lot of staff due to employees leaving. Because of their own management changing schedules. So please seek different services.

Very poor management and don't care about there staff. They care about getting their money. Never ask how there staff is doing. No wonder they are short staffed all the time.
