We had an amazing trip to Davidson Glacier. The hike to the canoes was gorgeous. Taking the canoes to the Glacier was everything I wanted it to be and more. We got lucky and had perfect weather, but even if it had been raining, it would have been perfect. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone.
The hike here was easy, and the guides used a motor to get our canoes going.

This is the best way to see this Glazier. This adventure we took thru princess cruise was fantastic. The boat ride was in an enclosed boat that took us to the rain forest, where they put us on an old school bus to the camp. We were equipped with rain gear life vests and a paddle. We went on a moderate hike of less than 1/4 mile to the 10 passenger canoe then we paddled over, with assistance from the motor. Got out on the sand beach, various degree of rocks. It was wonderful, breathtaking beautiful. This is why we wanted this adventure and this tour was 6 hrs. short. They gave us the best turkey sandwich and water drink with the best view and adventure I've had that week. Nothing will taste that good. The trip back was on fire with everyone happy with the adventure and our Captain, Conner and mate Jim, stopped at a waterfall with an Eagle, that didn't fly away till after we left. They were great. The only disappointing thing was the passengers. All that they were shown, the help they received to do all that we did, the wealth of information we received from the crew and tour guides personal accounts, yet I only saw a few people leaving a gratuity. I surely hope more did than I saw. They made this a hands on adventure safe and fun. We didn't see any Bears, but they were prepared and so were we!
