What an awesome little breakfast spot, the food was so good. The corned beef has was amazing , eggs were cooked perfectly , the homefries were good too. My wife a cinnabun waffle and she said it was awesome. Will definitely be back!

I have tried this breakfast place 3 times now in the hope that it would get better, but each time it gets worse and the food was cold and nasty to the point we're I could not eat it was told that they were very busy but it was not and other groups the same size got there food that came in after use as me and my family wait 50mins and had to ask were are food was then it finally came out an 1hr later cold and tast like it was just setting back there and it was not made how it was asked to be when i told the wait she got the owner/ cook who blamed every one else even the waiter said that they had a lot of take out orders but no one came or left with food and then after I told him I would not eat his cold food he said is there any thing else I want I said no bc I can set for over an hr and then wait again my family wanted to eat so we eat what was edible (the cold toast with jelly) he took off one meal and that was it so we paid and will not be returning sad that they can get there act together (you can see that the grave was cold and it tast like it was cuddled milk )

This place is a hidden gem in jewett city! My son took me here and now we went back following week!! Service was awesome!! Very attentive and accommodating. Totally my new breakfast spot 😋 👌

I do lose some faith in the sanctity of Google Ratings when I see this restaurant with 4.4 stars and not 1.1 stars. I think it is just an attempt by a very cordial local community to be supportive. This is definitely the worst restaurant I've ever attended barring one in El Paso Texas where the Salmon tasted like Coyote. If I were blindfolded I would not have been able to tell what I was eating at Dean's Corner, the corned beef hash was like the filling in a pop tart. The ham tasted like sponge. The only thing that was barely edible was the bacon but it was also off. I would love to know where they source from. The fake maple syrup that has no maple syrup in it and all chemicals and preservatives is one thing but not even being able to upgrade to real maple syrup is another. This restaurant is a blight on humanity and a fraud and should be shut down.

Was a bit unsure at first but everything was delicious and my coffee was always full. Very pleasant staff and good prices. We ordered 2 specials and they were supreme!! Pulled pork hash and some granola crusted French toast:)

With a few breakfast shops in town, this one always seems to be the "least" busy which surprises me (they do fill up, but there isn't nearly the wait here like the other 2 places). The servers make you feel like a "regular" almost immediately. The few funky dishes that stray from the "normal breakfast" are all well worth trying. Dean's is the first choice for my family and me. The atmosphere is inviting, and the spacing on the tables isn't crowded considering that the room isn't big.

My omelet was good but others commented that their food was salty. One of the staff plopped a pile of forks, knives , spoons and napkins on the table and walked away, after a while we asked the table next to us if we could look at their menus. When we walked in we were told we could take a seat and we did, due to my friend having foot problems but the waitress was very rude about it due to it not having been cleaned off yet which we had no problem with. Bad day maybe Not a great experience for us
