Working with Heather was such a wonderful experience! She is a detail oriented, organized, clear communicator with such a kind heart. And as a wedding photographer, I can’t even begin to tell you how priceless these qualities are!

Funny story: My now-husband and I were originally going to go with a different wedding planner. That planner sent over the contract for us to sign, but after finding multiple mistakes in the contract (misspelled names, incorrect dates, and fudged numbers), I no longer felt comfortable working with them. I thought to myself, how could I trust them to organize the biggest event of our lives if they couldn't even get these simple details right? So we let them down as gently as we could, grit our teeth, and dove back into the search.

Enter Heather. She came recommended by our photographer team, and after our initial interview with her, I had a really good feeling. Her background at the esteemed Beverly Hills Hotel spoke for itself, and she came armed with a litany of questions and suggestions. The proposal and contract that she sent over was the kicker for me. Both documents were intensely thorough, to the degree that I looked them through and thought, here is a woman who has thought of everything. That was exactly the kind of person who I wanted planning our wedding, so we took a leap of faith and signed her on.

Now that we're on the other side of the wedding, I'm pleased to say that I was spot on. Heather is absolutely the person you want as your wedding planner. She is diligent, experienced, professional, and fastidious. No detail was too small for her to notice, or too insignificant not to warrant a follow-up. She maintained painstakingly accurate records throughout the entire planning process and juggled all of the communication with our vendors, and all the while she kept us apprised of everything. She used a shared live spreadsheet as our wedding organizer, allowing my now-husband and I to track every change and reference every different aspect of the wedding in one place. It was incredibly useful, and at a certain point of the wedding planning process, I was checking on it at least once a day.

We signed Heather on in April 2024, when we only had a venue and a photographer. Our wedding was a short 5 months later, and while we found all of the vendors ourselves, the day itself came together largely due to Heather's organizational efforts. We faced several tricky issues, such as our venue coordinator not being particularly responsive, but with Heather there to smooth things over, the issues never became real problems. We had an absolutely wonderful wedding day, and while there are a few small things that I'd change if I could do it all over again, I'd book Heather again in a heartbeat. She's an absolute rockstar, and I couldn't give her a higher recommendation.

If we could leave Heather 10 stars we would. Let me start by saying that she was recommended to us by the Director of Catering at the Beverly Hills hotel-- so you know she is legit! But she's not snooty or any of the negative terms you might associate with a 5-star hotel, quite the opposite! Heather is warm, kind, has a great sense of humor, and so excited to help make your dreams a reality.

When we met Heather we only had our venue, and that was it. She guided us through selecting all the vendors, reading through their contracts, and making sure everything was locking in ahead of time. She is extremely organized and detail-oriented; we had regular check-ins and worked out of a massive spreadsheet. Heather is great about pacing the decision-making so that it's not overwhelming (I get decision fatigue easily, so this was huge for me).

Our wedding went off without a hitch. All the vendors were coordinated flawlessly, guests + wedding party were in the right places at the right times, and we just got to enjoy our wedding. Honestly, if something went wrong, we had no idea, because it wasn't our problem.

We interviewed multiple planners (some who wanted to charge double the money for less than what we got with Delmar Events), and Heather was a clear standout. I highly recommend you do the same!

Thanks to Heather, my husband and I had the most perfect, stress-free wedding, and we couldn’t wait to recommend her to anyone else looking for a wedding coordinator. Heather was the fourth coordinator who I interviewed, and it was immediately clear to me that she was on the ball, trustworthy, and professional. We hired her as a month-of-coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly leading up to and during the big day, and she exceeded our expectations. Heather is incredibly organized and a great communicator, and she asked all of the right questions so that I could literally turn my brain off. I was never left worrying about any details because Heather had everything covered. I didn’t want to give my family or wedding party any duties, so Heather was the one running the show from start to finish. During the wedding, everything was punctual and calm, and I didnt have to check the time or my phone once. Heather went well beyond her duties several times, such as creating a beautiful seating chart, contacting UberEats headquarters regarding the cake delivery, and keeping me hydrated during our pre-ceremony photos. By anticipating our every need, Heather made sure my husband and I had no responsibilities and could be present for every moment of our wedding day.

Heather Freedman is the absolute best wedding planner my wife Debbie and I could ever ask for. Let me share a little bit more about our story, and how Heather came to the rescue!

I know we're not the only ones, but our wedding was impacted by COVID-19. We were originally set to get married on November 7, 2020 and we had booked a venue, chosen our caterer, secured a photographer, and booked a DJ. Our plans changed and we had to cancel everything. It was upsetting for my wife and I and we were left scrambling to find a new wedding venue, coordinate existing and new vendors, and plan a wedding from scratch, for a second time.

We needed help.. It's overwhelming enough to plan a wedding once.. but twice (and almost three times)...we needed help. And we are so glad we called Heather.

Heather is the nicest, most thoughtful, creative and organized wedding planner you can find out there.. we are sure of it. She worked with us to find the perfect venue, she kept us organized along the way, and through it all, she kept an incredible attitude. We had so many questions, and Heather never had a problem answering any of them. She is so knowledgeable, so helpful, and so incredibly organized.
