My noon flight was delayed 5 hours due to mechanical issues. Ticketing told me the flight could leave sooner than expected and if it did then I would be SOL if I left the airport. After the flight was delayed a second time, I rebooked with Delta onto another flight scheduled to depart earlier. The gate agent tried to have my luggage retagged but she said the downstairs printer wasn't working. I had to leave security to go back to ticketing in order to have my bag pulled and retagged otherwise the ticketing agent downstairs said it would not have been put on my new flight. Neither the app nor a gate agent would give me an assigned seat on the new flight even though there were seats available and the fight wasn't scheduled to depart for another 3 hours. The gate agent told she would keep track and make sure I got an aisle seat since I was the first to request it on my new flight but, of course, she didn't. When I went up to the podium to check on getting a seat assigned, I told the gate agent I wanted an isle seat and she gave me a middle seat instead. I had to ask her again before she would change it to an aisle seat. Really antiquated system. It's hard to believe this company is still in business.

The absolute worst airline with the worst customer service. Was standing at the Delta desk for 20 min waiting to pick up an animal and nobody ever came out. I eventually had to walk behind the counter and yell into their break room to get their attention. Their employee lied to me and said he didn't work for Delta and told me to go ask another airline employee for help. When I asked them, they told me he did work for Delta. I went back to the desk and he finally did his job and gave me my package. Beyond unprofessional and rude.

I bought my tickets in May and got a good deal. Both flights, to Atlanta and to Germany went smoothly even with just 45 minutes between flights. I did not think I was going to make my international flight but I did. The flight attendants were friendly and helpful, the food....as always, the entertainment was so good, I did not even realize 9 hours had passed. Everyone on the plane behaved well (masks on and no complaints).

Never check bags they frequently lose or choose not to send on your flight and instead send later due to poor planning. Really bad customer service on any baggage issues. Delta misplaced our bags twice in the last 2 days 3 pieces of luggage 10 hours after arrival no idea when we’ll receive luggage all 3 in different locations! Can’t get through to their customer service either says due to high volume of delayed baggage. Really? Nightmare avoid Delta at all costs.
