We had such an amazing day at Disneyland Adventure Park! From start to finish, everything was incredible. The food alone was unforgettable — the clam chowder absolutely stole my heart. The attractions were fun and exciting — I nearly lost my soul on the roller coaster, but it was totally worth it! We’re definitely coming back again.

Definitely more interactive as far as the park itself compared to Disneyland. We saw and met characters all over. If you hang out around Avengers Campus, live choreographed events happen with great frequency and we were able to meet several Marvel characters and get photos/signatures. Rides were crazy busy, with some having 2 hour+ wait times and we saw quite a few people jump the lines. There was little to do in the lines and I as this was day 2 of Disney with lightning passes, I was over it.

All in all, there's a variety of things to do, things to see, and the kids loved it. Just be prepared to live in line purgatory. Also, there aren't a lot of Disney princesses/stuff on this side. The queue to meet Anna/Elsa/Moana is also extremely long (hour plus) and sometimes requires status. Definitely do your research about timing/day and be prepared not to do everything. We even went on a rainy day and it was crazy busy!

Wonderful place for family! Staffs there are very friendly and helpful. Some notes for playing there:
1. Download app Disneyland
2. Reserve your ticket on app
3. Make your own plan with lightning lane ticket
4. Mobile order for your food to save lots of time

California Adventure Park was a tad bit less crowded than Disneyland, but still very crowded. They have mobile ordering and there is a little more space for people to eat vice Disneyland. I have been to Disneyland and I do think California adventure is the true Disneyland and brings the spirit of the park. I was always told that they don't have rides for young kids but they have rides for adults, teenagers and young kids.

Super crowded, 1-2 hours waiting in line, if you’re lucky. Line for Guardians of the Galaxy was 2½ hour line (my first pic) so disappointed. Also, they require reservations now even though you just paid $330 a person for a 2-day park hopper.

We got in 3 rides the whole day, never stopping to enjoy main street or eating but rather just standing in lines. It still was nice revisiting the place I have so many good memories over the years but it has gotten out of control.

It is a very easy process getting into the park. Although the park was crowded, it wasn't annoying (Tuesday 8am-4pm). Was able to get on everything some rides 3x. If you are going as a couple, I would suggest just going into the solo rider line when available it will save you hours on your trip. 90% of the time we ended up in front or behind each other on the same ride, 2x we ended up going on separate rides. The rides were fun. The food was good. Don’t miss The Cars ride and incredicoaster, guardians of the galaxy top tier. Soaring was cool. You will have a good time wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

P.S if you're having anxiety regarding weight, you will be fine. Most of the rides was basically car seat belts, so if you can fit a seat belt, you're good to go.

Ticket prices change daily, parking was $35... $55 for premium that put you at the bottom. We all end up on the same tram.

This place is awesome! I definitely like it more than Disneyland. The rides are amazing (especially the roller coaster and the Toys rides), restaurants are delicious and not to over priced, dessert at Ghirdeli Chocolate is so sweet! yummy!!! The World of Color Show to end the night is perfect. Don't get me wrong, Disneyland has its great things but California Adventures takes the cake!

A 'California' Oriented theme park. Worth taking a separate day here, rather than trying to do the same day as Disneyland. There is enough going on here that is worth a day all to itself. Slightly quieter than Disneyland, this is a great alternative for a day out.
