Traveling through Northern California was awesome. This Hotel definitely gave me a great impression of Chico. The front desk team was super nice and accommodating. I'm a little picky, especially when traveling with family. They went above and beyond, even giving me extra cookies at check in. Breakfast wasn't included, but the variety of items they offered was well worth it. Not sure I'll ever be in Chico again, but if I am, I'll stay here for sure.

Had family come from Arizona, we decided to stay here on our last leg of the trip.

Wish we came sooner! From the moment I came in to inquire about a room, to dining in the restaurant bar inside the hotel, to checking out - the service was just amazing, warm, and friendly.

We had kids with us, they enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and outdoor games. The teens enjoyed the gym and pool. And us adults had a great time at the restaurant and bar lounge. Overall a great experience, would recommend if you are needing a stay in the Chico area.

Breakfast was awful both days and extremely overpriced. Had to wait for eggs both days as serving dish was empty. Coffee was terrible, hair on fruit on second day. Carafes of decaf and hot water were not labeled so I poured decaf on my tea bag. Also watched another guest do the same thing. Tried to sit outside on the patio which was set up with tables and chairs and was locked out of the breakfast room and had to walk around through the lobby to get back in. Room was is disrepair: frayed carpets, peeling wallpaper, cobwebs, HVAC not working properly. I could hear the neighbors blowdry their hair and urinate. Simple talking woke me up and I thought someone was in my room. Jacuzzi was too hot.

The rooms were good. The front desk was very friendly, but the highlight for myself, which was my first time staying there due to my son graduating from Linemen school was the bar inside the bartender Kenny made us feel like we were family and at home so cool to have a bar inside a hotel with numerous beers on tap; And the best part you can drink and walk to your room.

We usually stay at the Hampton Inn when in Chico but for a last minute one night visit we decided to check out the Doubletree. Warm cookie at checkin but that's where the warmth ends. Hotel staff was unfriendly and a little abrasive. Hotel is recently updated but still has a rough feel to it. Rooms are decent but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. Hotel is in a sketchier part of Chico and doesn't feel especially safe. Felt disappointed in the vibe and hospitality. Lobby area, bar and pool are nice amenities but when in Chico, we decided we definitely prefer the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn over the Doubletree.

I live in Chico and come to this DoubleTree to enjoy some drinks and food with friends. Service is always friendly, and drinks are great! Shout out to Victor for being an awesome Bartender! The warm cookies are delightful. I recommend to check this spot out for the friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Everyone at this hotel was overly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Good breakfast and Starbucks coffee. The room was very quiet. I never heard a thing from the hall. Great location for the job. I was there to do. Would stay there again.
