Wonderful stay. Sandra was so kind and checked me in. She really made sure I was enjoying my stay with all the cookies she gave me. Room was comfortable and spacious. Good location and the parking was easy. Pool and hot tub were closed which was a little disappointing.

I don't know about this location nor the services either...

Start for parking..
It is in downtown so, I guess we expect a parking lot on the ground floor or next from the hotel...?
Which is the parking lot was connected from the hotel... but, this time was very inconveniences because they closed hotel parking area somehow.
One good thing.
We planned to pay extra get the parking but, if you get the stamp on the parking ticket, the parking is free.(didn't know that. I was asked front desk and the man said $19)

And the shower water.
Yes. I don't expect a wonderful shower system in regular rooms but at least have some decent water pressure..
They have the worst water pressure ever..
#holiday Inn was better.
Maybe we have to book penthouse? to get to have good water pressure of shower

Last finally,
Front phone front desk was not a good service too...
So, I will be considering using related any Hilton....🤔

Stayed here for a night before a work conference.

The hotel was recently updated and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. The gym was among the nicest I've used at any non-resort hotel.

I had two issues with my stay. First, there was no hot water. Since I was only here for a night it was not a big deal, but if I was here for longer this would be an issue, especially considering other reviews highlighting the same issue. Second, charging for a microwave/heat-up breakfast at a hotel is poor quality from an upper-end chain. Luckily, I had a credit for breakfast as a Hilton Gold member, but if you are looking for breakfast, I would definitely look elsewhere, the breakfast is not worth it at all.

Overall, it was good for a 1-night stay. Some things to consider, but it was a good experience. I would consider coming back.

Nice location right by the ballpark and civic center. Makes me miss the days of my youth when I would come down here for a Whalers game.

Rooms are fine, nothing special but clean and modern. Excellent TV and they even have the good remote that lets you change inputs.

Restaurant on site is fine, and staff was really great. Parking is reasonably priced for the location, and seems abundant.

Hilton Honors members. Nice hotel but the restaurant is not even close to Hilton standards. The worst restaurant we have ever experienced in a Hilton property. Obviously privately owned. . A total rip off of microwave food. The worst McDonalds would be an upgrade. Do not eat there!!!!

Warning: When the Hilton Website offers an additional fee option for breakfast, say NO! Stayed last night. To begin with there’s no restaurant so to speak, but an area where you can order microwaved food. Elderly lady at “food” area was not happy with her job and downright rude. In case you misunderstood it’s microwaved food similar to hitting a 7-11. Not worth the $$ price tag. And definitely false advertising saying there’s a restaurant on site.

On another note, the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Different Front desk lady this morning was much nicer.

Took my boys for a UCONN game. Great hotel connected to the arena - we didn’t even have to walk outside which was good considering it was freezing. We stayed on a high floor which was nice and quiet. The only bummer was the pool and the shower were freezing as well. Might want to check on that! Other than that, great stay!

I am currently staying at this doubletree hotel, I was not made aware previously that this hotel is half hotel and half luxury apartments all in one. I have 2 children we like to explore the hotel sit in the lobby eat and relax but this particular hotel limits where you can still in the lobby although they have a lounge and sitting area which is only dedicated to the apartment part of this hotel. I was told by an employee "you need to eat in your room this area is for the apartments" and not in a nice tone. I paid for the breakfast option thinking this was a functional restaurant but was greatly disappointed to find 1. I paid for 3 ppl to eat breakfast and was told the hotel's policy is only 2 ppl could eat which only allowed my 2 children to eat and not me. Then the meal is not buffet style which I'm use to there only are microwave pre-made options and extremely limited. I had to switch rooms the 1st night because the room was extremely cold as the entire hotel is the same. They have an indoor pool which can not be utilized because the temperature in this hotel is freezing even in the pool area you are guaranteed a cold if you do.On top of everything the shower water is lukewarm (on the colder side) No hot water in yhe shower. Overall I've been to doubletree hilton hotels in the past few months (different location and State)and was never treated like this or so disappointed in the service and amenities. I have 1 more nights stay but I will NOT be returning.
