This place was great ,good price no trouble with cash deposit. Nice and clean ? you can smell it when you walk in. Had parking that we could keep an eye on the car. Front desk was always very nice. Very happy with our 2 days.

I found this hotel via priceline. I was looking for something that was inexpensive but not cheap since this was in California. I had called in advanced to let them know I would be arriving late. I was told no problem and it wasn't. In fact, I got an upgrade at the same price. The room was very spacious and everything worked properly. The proprietor was very friendly and personable to my needs and I was extremely appreciative. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Ehhh, You get what you pay for.
The bed was like sleeping on a board.
The pillows were a joke.
They have sheet metal for a bed skirt. So every time you walk around the bed if you dare touch it it sounds like you just hit the gong.
Bath towels head stains on them of some sort.
Renovated updated painted room, but still a very budget hotel like a motel 6.
We could hear the guy snoring in bed in the room next door to us. Along with his coughing and discussions....
The location was nice no doubt, the front desk clerk was awesome.
But I didn't sleep well for two nights.

Stayed ten nights. This was my second stay. Was granted an early check-in request for 1pm. Front desk service was very courteous.

This motel stands out above others with its kitchen accommodations. The first room I had came with a nice countertop complete with a kitchen sink. The second room I stayed in, had a totally separate room for the kitchen with a door. See the photos.

The mini refrigerator, with the freezer having its own door, was large enough for ten days worth of food.

Housekeeping was very satisfactory. More than once, cleaning service was offered, upon which I only asked for toilet paper, and received two rolls. It was easy to discern, that if anything was needed, it wouldn't be difficult to ask.

Great location if your heading to the boardwalk or ocean its very close. Also maybe about 5 or so miles from capitola mall. The staff was very friendly and will definitely be going back.

Pretty good. You get your money's worth that's for sure. Nothing fancy. About a half mile from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and about a mile to walk to pacific ave/Downtown Santa Cruz. DEFINITELY bring ur own snacks and drinks cause they don't have any of that here except
The okay 6am coffee that doesn't last long when this place is busy.Nice people work the front desk.

Incredible value for the price. Clean. Large rooms. New floors, bathroom, kitchenette counter…. My room could have used a fresh coat of paint, and maybe a slipcover for the desk chair, but that didn’t bother me. (Actually , one thing that did bother me was the fact that the heat/ac unit cycled on and off very loudly throughout the night. I probably should have just turned it off altogether. I am ok with a little noise, but this really jarred me awake multiple times. I didn’t see a setting to have the fan just run continuously while the heat was on.)

Nice cozy place with good prices. If Just looking to stay & relax in a nice serene location by the beach with walking/bike path then check out this inn. Dollar is an excellent host, rooms are very clean, the water is hot, & the tv channels always have something good
