We were married here last September and the day was beautiful. This has to be one of the most unique and stunning venues in Colorado - our friends are still talking about how amazing the property was! Our guests enjoyed exploring the property during cocktail hour and the fire pits after it got dark and was a bit cooler. Dancing on the rooftop was so fun. The staff and valet team were friendly and helpful. A few tips - there can be a lot of walking/ stairs for folks who are unstable on their feet. We utilized a golf cart from the venue to help get some of our older guests from the ceremony site to reception. There are limited restrooms, which was only a problem immediately following the ceremony. The valet service was great. Because there isn’t reliable cell service in the area, we also offered a shuttle from a park and ride in Morrison, which worked well.

Absolutely beautiful venue! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that the lighting in the brides room was awful, especially since it was raining and we didn't have natural light. Asked for additional lighting (trying to be a good bridesmaid) was laughed at. I was simply looking for one of those construction lights or another lamp. Something. Not for them to install another light. I didn't want to be disrespectful and go grab another lamp from another room. Other than that. It is beautiful!

What an amazing wedding venue!! It is absolutely gorgeous! The property is kept up so extremely well. I am a wedding photographer and there is not one bad view on this property. The staff are amazing and very kind. I highly recommend this to any couples looking for a wedding venue!

Beautiful event location! Construction began in 1929 by a water engineer, Marcus Wright.
No trespassing on this property but you can use the ‘Lair O’ The Bear’ trail off CO 8 near Morrison to walk by the outer perimeter for a few beautiful shots!

Who would have thought there is one right here in Colorado, tucked in the mountains? If you're getting married, I'd check this one out for a unique experience.

We didn't get a tour since Annie wasn't "on the premises" for our scheduled tour, and wasn't going to be for the rest of the day after we drove 1 hour out of our way. The outdoors looked very pretty here, but the parking, bathrooms, and what we could see of the interior didn't seem well kept up with. Someone also lives here in a private residence at the top part of the castle in the parking area.
