Quite and regal, beautiful uninhibited location. Worth a trip just to cruise nature and it’s beauty in the Arizona region.

Even though the website says it's open to the public Monday through Saturday (except holidays), 8 am to 4 pm, it was closed today. I was able to park in the parking lot and walk around outside, but none of the buildings were open. Many beautiful scenic vista's and landscaping.

An amazing place for family but it would be more amazing if it was opened when it says it is. It's sad that this is actually a good place for kids and is never open during their hours if business. Always excuses of why someone is not out here.

All of the events were fun for the kids and the adults. The staff were very polite and worked great with the kids. Really enjoyed the static electricity show. Wanted to see the planetarium show but it was always to full by the time I got up to it. Wish the weather was warmer so I could've stayed for the later shows. Disecting the owl pellets was a ball of fun. My son enjoyed it so much. We found all kind of bones. Very informative and educational. We can't wait to go back next year.

I LOVE this place. It is an all around learning experience, but, it's fun. They have an Observatory w/20" telescope;Museum of local history;planetary walk thru that speaks to you& let's you hear sounds from space;&a 'full immersion' ride thru space from discovery park!!
That's only the MAIN building. There is another ENTIRE museum of the history& native people from this area.
You could spend a week here & not see all this park has to offer. A GREAT way to pique kids interests in science.
