Outstanding staff ! Very accommodating!
As A DJ of over 30 years and having eaten and worked in hundreds of venues in Ohio, I can honestly say that no matter how nice a venue is, if the staff is lacking it affects everything. This staff was exceptional from top to bottom. Food was really good, and yes the venue was beautiful but as I keep saying, the staff made the event I attended successful.

Just attended a wedding reception here and I was very impressed!! The venue itself was very nice, with a sleek and modern feel. The food was phenomenal!! I genuinely wish the venue had a small restaurant or offered to-go meal pickup the way some of the local banquet centers do. The beef ribs were amazingly tender, whipped (mashed) potatoes were perfectly creamy. I don’t think there was a single thing that I ate that was disappointing. Staff was friendly and polite, as well.

For me, the staff of the event center who support our events is waaaay more important than the actual event center. Let's face it, conference space is all the same, just set up different. However, the wait staff and support team at the Eastwood Event Centre are stellar. Super responsive and accommodating.

Coming from an Event Coordinator of 22 years:

Friends and family attended the 51st annual GFWC luncheon and style show; this was the first year at this event center.
The event was coordinated quite well however there were several obstacles that we had to deal with, from the center itself.
The microphone was not tested beforehand; 4 tables from the center runway on either side (of 265 ppl) could hear absolutely nothing the entire show. Rather than have the speakers in the far corners of the large hall, they were on the stage.
This is a fundraiser that has been going on for 50 years; without a hitch on food or champagne. This year, the champagne was Cook’s- it doesn’t take a wine conisyuour to know that the brand is painfully cheap. And to top it off, they restricted the amount each table could have. This is a fundraiser to benefit the Children's Rehabilitation Center, it’s an all women, all you can drink champagne event and does EXTREMELY well every year; there have never been limits before. The cherry on top was that they ran out of champagne before the food was even served, bc the event center didn’t believe they needed the amount that was offered for the 50 years prior.
Speaking of food, there were two options: chicken and vegan. Both were plated nicely, however, the chicken was thin, almost paper and minutely seasoned. The squash wasn’t cooked. It was raw and what we could best describe as “crunchy.”
As one can imagine, after drinking and eating, one might need to use the facilities. Not here. The women’s restroom had no toilet paper as of 75 min into the event, and every single toilet stopped flushing by the mid way fashion event. They closed it off and rerouted all 265 women to the hotel lobby bathroom which held a maximum of 2.

I do not recommend this event center. When one hires a center, the center asks what they can do for them. In this case, the center forces their own rules upon the coordinators and their frighteningly uneducated on what is required.
