This property is 6 stars. The rooms were extremely clean. The entire staff was friendly. The price was on line with the quality. The bar area and room service was delicious thanks to Chris and his staff . I must commend, Stephanie Atkinson and Taylor. They went above and beyond on service. I notice they gifted the other guests with their exceptional service as well. Great job! Great attitude and genuine care that my stay was the best. I have background of over 23 years of SR level Human Resources and customer service leadership . I have stayed at many properties and this review is definitely deserved . True testament of great management.

This particular Embassy Suites has gone way downhill. We stop annually on our way to Florida and back (for years). Rooms have odor between moth balls and dog. Carpets & furniture haven't been changed in years. Stained and gross. TVs are very small. Beds not as comfortable as they were. Bedding has changed. Hampton inn far better. Best part is the breakfast - but they are understaffed and it was not as it has been in the past. Our feeling is they're getting ready to close it down as everything around it is gone. It was definitely our last stay.

Older hotel fairly well maintained but showing its age. Attached/next to a mall that seems minimally occupied. Near a movie theater. Front desk team was kind, and polite. Didn’t interact with other team members. Checked in late in the evening for an overnight stay. We had a toilet that didn’t work right (chain from the handle didn’t stay connected) we didn’t bother to contact the front desk until the following morning. Room was clean, but looks a little worn. Will look elsewhere the next time we’re in the area.

Had a fantastic stay at Embassy Suites Brunswick. Hotel is neat, rooms were clean, and had the best music playing from the lobby. Very close to everything. Front desk= very attentive. Shoutout to Kayla and her team. They have a wonderful property.

I came back after 4 years, everything was still great. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. Service is great. You get 2 free well drinks at the bar every night and an excellent breakfast too. You can have an omelette custom made or just graze on the well stocked buffet. I stay here every time I travel to Brunswick.

This hotel is in a very sketchy area, next to an abandoned mall surrounded by an abandoned parking lot. As soon as we came in, we were deafened by the reception staff talking really loudly among themselves. The dark cavernous lobby is surrounded by five floors of rooms with halls open to the lobby with little half walls. This greatly amplified any noise. The half walls open to the lobby looked hazardous. ||We were offered a choice of a room by the laundry area or one with a connecting door. We picked the latter. ||The rooms have big windows on their “hall”. You can see across the lobby to the other floors. You have to close the windows for privacy, but then the “living area” is really dark. There were two lamps and one flickered badly. ||The room smelled musty and was very dim and unpleasant. The back bedroom area had a window that looked out to the dismal surroundings. A bird had left its opinion of the place right in the middle of the glass , adding to the ugliness. ||We checked out immediately. It was not a “3 star hotel”. We did not partake of the “free drinks” or breakfast. The receptionist said that the room was not noisy when we explained why we left. Horrible experience. We went to the Hampton Suites which gave us a lovely reception, coffee and a bright clean room.

Rooms are pretty nice and comfortable. With a nice couch and large bed.

Sheets etc are NOT cleaned during housekeeping which surprised me a little.

There are also no standard water bottles in the room, which is not nice. People from countries outside of the US cannot drink the tap water, therefore having a bottle of water is a nice courtesy to travelers.

Hotel looks nice, has a nice lobby.

The access to the mall is locked off as the mall next to it is pretty deserted.

Some of the staff can be a bit moody. The manager was very friendly and hospitable however.

Ok, you've read lots of reviews so I won't bore you. Here is my two cents for what it's worth. When I stay, I want a clean, fresh hotel. While they have obviously attempted an update, this is still a worn out building. They can't help the abandoned mall adjacent so I'm not knocking the property for that. My 3 stars is due to the attached photos. Mold in bathroom, green pool, bottoms of door and walls damaged etc. I also posted a pic of the nice fresh wallpaper. Trying to say they have attempted an update but it just isn't for me. Again, some nice finishes but you will see what I'm knocking it for in the attached photos. I wouldn't recommend for $171 per night. Nope.
