Such a great experience from the moment, Bianca picked us up till the minute she dropped us off. She was an absolute pleasure to meet and was so efficient and familiar with all the area’s sites and chock full of information. Loved exploring the coastal inner sea floor, spotting orange star fish and anemones that squirted out water ! We were even treated to a beautiful hike through the forest up to the top of the waterfalls! We did not see a bear the first stop, but Bianca circled back afterwards and sure enough, There was a wonderful black bear Strolling along the riverbank. Salmon ladder was so cool and interesting. And the stop at the Hole in Wall bar for a cold Alaskan beer was fun too! Bianca took great pictures and videos herself and then forwarded them to us. . It was like we had our own private photographer. I would highly recommend this tour company.

Bianca was a passionate, knowledgeable tour guide who made it exciting exploring Ketchikan’s wildlife. She know where to got to see starfish, whales, bears and eagles. We saw a gorgeous waterfall and a totem pole village. There were 9 of us in our group, ranging from 9 years old to 83. There was something for everyone. Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing time on our Private tour with Hans. He listened to our requests and also provided us with some wonderful adventures. We saw a few bears, hiked a beautiful waterfall, explored tidepools and visited downtown. Hans was a great guide and very personable. We appreciated our time in Ketchikan!

The Best! Stumbled upon Hans while walking around Ketchikan, and we overheard him finishing up on a tour. We asked him if he would be willing to do an impromptu tour to take us on a quick excursion to see some wildlife! He gave us a 15 minute turnaround and before we knew it, we were en route to the most memorable excursion of our 10 day trip. Very comfortable tour bus, great tour guide and company, and we were fortunate enough to see 20+ eagles and 3 bears hunting for king salmon in the river! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful tour of Ketchikan with Bianca as our tour guide. She took us to tide pools to see purple starfish, we also saw too many bald eagles to count, whales off shore and seals. We next went to an old saw mill where they were working on totem poles. Last stop was a beautiful waterfall.
If you stop in Ketchikan I highly recommend this tour company.

We had a great time! We were taken to a few different spots to see wildlife - tide pools where we saw some crabs and other small creatures, and in the same area saw a seal and a few bald eagles. We were also taken to a native-owned sanctuary where we saw a couple of baby black bears & salmon, and learned about the tribe’s background and how they make their totem poles. We were also taken on a super cool, fairly short but moderate waterfall hike. Bianca was a great tour guide and was knowledgable about where to go.

The price was very reasonable since you pay per-group instead of per-person like many of the other excursions, and it was great to have a private tour for our big group of 11 people.

We had a fabulous tour with Bianca! My family and I were in Ketchikan for the first time and Bianca took her time to explain the history of the town and the history of the stops we made. You can tell she absolutely loves this place and wants to share it with visitors! This was by far our favorite stop on our Alaskan cruise and it was because of this amazing tour. If you’re in Ketchikan, I highly recommend booking with Emerald Forest Tours for a personalized tour and a memorable experience. 10/10! Also, this tour was extremely accommodating to all levels of mobility.
