Emerald Hills is the most breathtaking wedding venue I have ever come across. The beautiful rolling hills and lush greenery create a truly magical setting for a wedding. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure that every detail was taken care of, from the ceremony to the reception. The facilities were top-notch, and the on-site catering was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how stunning the venue was. I highly recommend Emerald Hills to any couple looking for a dreamy and romantic wedding venue.

We got married at Emerald Hills in August and it was absolutely PERFECT! We knew we were in the best hands after the first time we met Abby and the rest of her staff. From the venue, to the weather, to all of our vendors... Emerald Hills truly has it all. We cannot be more complimentary of the venue and the staff. The group of people who help make this place run are truly top notch. If you are considering booking this venue for your event, we highly recommend doing so. You WON'T regret it!

I can't say enough about Emerald Hills Events. Wedding planning is difficult and stressful enough, let alone a pandemic during it all. The owner was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. I lost hope a couple times with COVID-19 happening that we wouldn't be able to have our special day there that we had been dreaming about but she encouraged us to hold on strong for our date and also offered for us to pencil in a back up date in case things did not open up again in time for our wedding. We also discussed with her the possibility of having to cancel all together due to COVID-19 and she was more than willing to refund us the money (outside of deposit due to contract we BOTH agreed/signed to). Luckily, the State of Iowa opened up in perfect timing for us to still have the best day we have ever had.

The wedding weekend could not have gone more smooth. The owner was so responsive leading up to the wedding and was super flexible with us; especially with the continuous changes of the pandemic. Behind the scenes she worked with our vendors on arrival times and anything else they needed. The family/staff she had working the event were so much fun and provided speedy service at the bar. It was also great talking with them all as well! We also received so many compliments on the venue and our guests couldn't believe how well designed the venue was and how beautiful the property was. The bridal suite and grooms lounge also made for great hang out spots throughout the day while getting ready with full bathrooms connected to it and easy access to them from the back of the venue to your car. If you are looking for a venue that will be amazing to get married in but also provide you with unbelievable photos and video to have the rest of your life then this is the venue for you.

The property also has an awesome hunting lodge right next to it that we utilized for the wedding party to stay and to host our rehearsal dinner. It is perfect for the guys to stay the night before to fish, kayak, play pool, and hang out. Be sure to check out the lodge with the venue if you go take a tour. It is totally worth it. We had the pleasure of planning the first Girls Day Out Event hosted at Emerald Hills and had a great experience! From quick replies to messages to flexibility in suggestions or ideas, the team at Emerald Hills was receptive and prompt in all of the preparation. The space itself is functional and beautiful. We are looking forward to the next opportunity to work here!

We just got married at Emerald Hills this June!
It was an absolute DREAM wedding! Everything was too perfect for words and I honestly cannot rave enough about the Emerald Hills venue and staff!

The bridal suite and grooms lounge were my personal favorite details about the venue. Plenty of room for larger bridal parties! We never once felt crowded at all and Abby had everything decorated so tastefully. Every little detail matters and she knew just how to show it!

I really cannot express my gratitude to EH enough, we had the perfect wedding day at the perfect venue! ♥️
If we had to do it all over again we would hands down pick Emerald Hills every single time!

Searching in St. Louis, MO (where we live) for a venue we loved felt unattainable. Then we started to search for a venue where my husband is from, Iowa. We found Emerald Hills and instantly knew this was our place. Getting married in a different state than we reside in, proved to have some challenges in the planning process. Although, Abby and her crew at Emerald Hills made sure our choice to get married there did not add to any stress! Abby was attentive throughout the entire planning process; helping to make decisions + suggestions, responding to questions (lots of questions) immediately, scrambling to help us make desired changes work, etc. We felt more like friends, they cared so deeply about our happiness and I couldn't be more thankful!

Day of the wedding, the staff at Emerald Hills made our day a DREAM. Their space is the most beautiful place to get married. Period. Our guests commented on the beautiful fireplace, functionality of the bar/dance floor/patio location, and the attentiveness of the bar staff. In regards to the care we received that day, they went above and beyond to provide the utmost care for us and our guests. As we got ready in the bridal and grooms suite's, Abby checked in with us consistently about the progress of set up. During the wedding, they were so "on top of it" they had the lower level switched from ceremony set up to reception set up in less than 30 minute (1 hour ahead of schedule)! AND, our wedding was the first to have the ceremony downstairs, so they had never done that switch before. I could go on and on about the outstanding service we received.

To anyone wondering if this could be their venue, look no further. Emerald Hills is the best of the best and you won't regret your decision to get married here.

I can't even begin to express how amazing and thoughtful Emerald Hill Events was during our wedding. They met every request we had. If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful venue then I would highly recommend this place and their staff! Even during this whole pandemic they were extremely understanding and even kept us up to date about rules we needed to follow and how to better accommodate our guests!! Thank you for helping make our special day so amazing!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

Getting married at Emerald Hills was a dream! It is such a beautiful indoor and outdoor space and the staff are absolutely amazing!! Even with it raining on our wedding day and having to move the ceremony location to upstairs.. it was perfect! 🙂 I 1000% recommend Emerald Hills Events!!
