We are cloud nine about the absolutely glorious wedding of our daughter and son in law that Sydney, from Emily Jordan Events helped us plan. From the moment we started working with Sydney, she brought such a fun and positive yet calming vibe to the planning process! I have also never seen a more responsive person than Sydney Woods! Her responsiveness and creative ideas made her a joy to work with! Our daughter was out of town in a different time zone; Sydney always found time to meet with her on Zoom whenever needed. We felt very confident that if any “issue” arose on the wedding day, Sydney would be able to handle it with poise and grace. Her calm, confident demeanor kept us calm and relaxed through the weekend! I used Emily Jordan Events to assist with day of coordination and Caitlin K. was my coordinator. Even though it wasn't a full planning package, she was available at any time to help me make decisions, review contracts, and make sure I was on the right track. I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID, and she counseled me when I was dealing with tough situations with venues, re-negotiating with vendors, and even with my family. Emily was also extremely understanding and worked with us through that unprecedented time. Day of, Caitlin made sure I enjoyed the day without a single worry, and she and her team set up the room better than I could have imagined! I will never forget the moment before I made my entrance with my family - Caitlin told us all to take a moment to center ourselves and focus on the significance of the day, and it was a beautiful and grounding moment. She's the best!!

It was the wedding of our dreams, and Sydney made it happen. Detail-oriented, fast responses, flexible, and easy-going. We felt so lucky to work with her. One example of how on top of things she was: almost two weeks before the wedding, Sydney had created a primary timeline 10-pages long that blocked events to within 5-15 minutes (i.e. "1:00 pm Rentals Arrive [listed contact for relevant vendors], 1:15 pm Bride and Bridesmaids depart for the venue")
