If you aren't familiar with the venue, finding your event from the parking lot is not well signed. It is not handicap friendly if walking is your challenge. The venue is pretty, but as a guest, you couldn't hear most of what was being said. When the music started, the volume was deafening. The food, however, was outstanding.

Need better signage to direct guests to the actual event from the parking lot and better handicapped parking nearer the actual event. There were steps from the handicapped parking spot down to the walkway to the event. The food offered was outstanding...But the sound was horrible... couldn't hardly understand the speaker at the ceremony or the reception and the music level was deafening.

Family friend had a wedding this past weekend at this venue. Empire Mills is a beautiful place to have a wedding! What most surprised me was the cleanliness. Very clean place inside and out. The parking being at the venue and a short walk from everything was an added bonus. In addition, everyone at the venue was super friendly to us guest. My friend and I really appreciated Kim with Hallie Jane’s catering. Her local hospitality was superb. The drive wasn’t to bad either!

Empire Mills was our dream wedding venue! The venue itself and the staff were just incredible! We loved that there was a spot for everything- bridal cottage, groom's lounge, ceremony hall, banquet hall and cocktail hour space all within feet of the other. We felt so supported and valued by the Empire Mills team during our whole wedding planning process. Extra big thanks to Katie-Marie and Hallie Janes as well!

We heard about Empire Mills from a friend and when we visited the venue it was love at first sight. The old cotton oil mill has been beautifully restored and made a perfect setting for my dream wedding! Kathleen was great and very responsive to our requests and questions. The staff for the wedding and reception was great and the food was delicious! We received so many compliments about how beautiful and perfect everything was at Empire Mills! We totally agree and couldn’t have been more pleased!

The Wedding Weekend at Empire Mills for my son and his bride in July 2017 was everything we had hoped and planned for....and so much MORE !! Hallie Jane, Kathleen, and the entire Empire Mills staff went above and beyond from the very beginning . They were all extremely professional, friendly, thorough, helpful ....I could go on and on. The historical buildings making up Empire Mills are gorgeous, classy, and just so beautifully and tastefully done. The various buildings have plenty of room, "flow" very well for guests, and the outdoor areas are gorgeous, as well. Our guests for both the Rehearsal Dinner and the Wedding Reception were astounded by this special and spectacular venue !
Hallie Jane's menu choices were all incredibly delicious....prepared, served, and presented with care and culinary expertise.
As numerous guests commented, "This is better than anything I've had at a restaurant in ages ." Simply said....the food was just amazing!
The entire weekend was magical at Empire Mills - so many of our guests commented on how they couldn't wait to attend another wedding or event here ....and our families couldn't agree more !! Thank you, Hallie Jane and everyone at Empire Mills !
