Terrible experience due to lack of customer service, unprofessional and uncaring management of Inverness 280 location. We were scheduled to pick a large SUV at 5:30 on Friday for a family vacation. Enterprise called at 5:15 to inform us the vehicle we reserved was not available due to a recall and offered no options. Only when I emphasized our need for a vehicle did they say they could call around and try to find something. When my husband arrived, a much smaller vehicle was offered. After speaking to the manager, Steph Smith, who showed no concern that he was ruining our trip, I again expressed our need for a larger vehicle like we reserved and they confirmed a couple days earlier. We were then told he had nothing to offer us, not even the smaller vehicle which was offered to my husband upon arrival. () I can only assume this was because I voiced my frustration over his unacceptable service. I understand they could not let us have the recalled vehicle but the attitude of Mr. Smith was appalling. His unwillingness to even try to resolve a problem was unacceptable business practice. Only when my daughter reached out to a friend who is an executive at Enterprise did Mr. Smith find a vehicle for us at Hoover. Something he was unwilling to try a few minutes earlier. Special thanks to Mac Brown at the Hoover s location for assisting us.

This is my go to branch. The employees are always so friendly and helpful at every stage. I always check with them after reserving online, and they keep me up to date on everything when I have questions or concerns. I am so sorry, I wish I could remember the girl’s name that handled much of my reservation. I really hope she gets some recognition. She was so wonderful and knowledgeable. Once again they’ve delivered with amazing service!!!

Reserved a car for a same day rental on a Saturday. When I arrived to pick up the car, there were 3 other customers there either picking up or dropping off vehicles. The employees there seemed pretty frazzled at the time I was there, maybe at the fact that there were now 4 customers at their store 15 minutes before they were supposed to close on a Saturday or maybe it was some other reason.
After waiting a few minutes to be helped, I shared my reservation information with the young lady at the counter. She pulled up my reservation in their system. Then she told me that they did not have any cars available at that location, even though I reserved a car online to be picked up at that location earlier that same morning. The young lady informed me that their system will not show that the location does not have vehicles available automatically when there are no vehicles available. She stated this location has to call their corporate office to have them show there is no availability there. So, assuming this is accurate, I have no idea why no one from that location called corporate to have their website correctly reflect that there were no vehicles available for rental that day. What good is the option of reserving a car using the website if the website doesn't keep accurate inventory of the cars available for rent.
The Enterprise employee who waited on me apologized for any inconvenience caused, and she recommended I go to the airport to rent a vehicle as that location stayed open later in the day and had vehicles available to rent.
I walked out of their office into their parking lot which was full of rental vehicles of all types. I got into my own vehicle and left the location.
With only 15 minutes remaining until they closed that day, I'm not sure how every rental vehicle parked in their parking lot was unavailable for rent.
I do not recommend using this location for any vehicle rental needs.

After reading the reviews, I was a little skeptical to use this Enterprise; however, I had a really pleasant experience here. Understandably, there are times when they’re busy, but each employee showed high-quality customer service. I’d reserved a car weeks in advance, and it was available and ready when I arrived for pickup. Everything was stress-free, and I experienced zero issues from pickup to drop off. I was very thankful that everything worked out. I recommend this location and will be using them again in the future. Thank you all for your help.

Why have a vehicle reservation if it isn’t reserved? Fairly poor experience. I had a reservation for pick-up at 4:30. I got there about 4:35. They didn’t have my car ready until 6:00. There were multiple people in the waiting room waiting for vehicles and no vehicles readily available. The only reason I didn’t give it one star was because the service girl was pleasant and she upgraded my reservation to a vehicle a level up from my reservation. An hour and a half wait is too long! Stop over booking.

We reserved a 15 passenger van months ago. Our reservation was for a Monday. I got a voicemail on a Saturday saying the previous renter extended their reservation and we didn’t have the van anymore. I couldn’t get ahold of ANYONE because it was the weekend. I called the Enterprise Customer Care line and they ASSURED ME that our reservation was good. I called first thing on Monday and they said no they don’t have the van. I asked them to provide an alternative SOMEWAY. We’d take two seven passenger vans from anywhere in the southeast. They never got us ANYTHING! Truly an unbelievable business model. I highly recommend NOT renting from this branch!

Online reservations are a joke. Many of the reviews here are about how they reserved a car online, arrived at the store at the pick-up time, and were told sorry! No cars available, have a nice day!
There is a clear disconnect between the website and the actual company. I know there will an automated response from Enterprise here, “we’d like to know more”.
How many reviews need to tell you about online reservations before you know enough about the problem?

Rented a car for Easter weekend. When picking up the car we got signed up for every extra under the sun. Called them because the rental was over $300 more than we were supposed to be paying and they said, come on back we will take them off! So we go right back, delaying our holiday travel and have the charges reversed. They tell me I will get an updated receipt and to have a good day. Now we have returned the rental, didn’t get all of the money back, Now I understand policy, but I feel we were swindled. We used to love renting from this location. I called to talk to the manager about it, give full details and they hung up on me. The new staff is just not it. We feel robbed, and they don’t know how to communicate. Do not recommend. Can’t even get anyone on the phone anymore.
