My group of 3 tried The Crypt and overall had a great time. We completed it with only a few minutes to spare (using a number of hints). Although it’s been a long while since we have last done one and were a little rusty and missed a few easy clues 🙂

Overall I think the level of difficulty was good and not crazy difficult so good for newer groups. It had some mildly scary parts, but nothing too bad (if that’s an issue for you).

My few critiques are:
- I felt the plot could have been a little more intriguing with the movie star and the mystery around her and how it all relates (no spoilers). I felt a little disconnect with the later half of the escape room.
- The initial game guide who welcomed us was pretty low energy, but the one who explained the rules was great.

I still enjoyed it a lot and would come again. Interested in their newest “Before Moonrise” room and if some of the other rooms are great I could see giving this place a 5*.

Me and my family went for the game show room and we loved it. It had so many moving parts. While we finished we didn't finish with the best time, but we enjoyed it so much that we already booked a second room for the following weekend. I would recommend it to any party size, we were a party of four and while that's not many it also didn't feel like we would have been able to do it faster with more people.

My friends and I went to this escape room for her birthday and had such a fun time! We did an escape room called Before Moonrise and I loved it! The puzzles were very well thought out and really fun to do! Absolutely loved the concept and all the themes of their escape rooms. Great quality escape rooms and super friendly and attentive staff. I would definitely go again in the near future and would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for escape room fun!

We played Before Moonrise and it was so awesome! From top to bottom the design of the room and story was so well thought out, and every detail accounted for.

So, so many clever puzzles to solve, it will get your brain juices flowing! Cannot recommend enough; anyone who likes fun should come check this out!

I've been a fan of Escape New Haven for years, but my latest experience was extra special. Before Moonrise was the highest quality build I've encountered in an escape room.

It felt very sleek and high-tech. There were barely any combination locks – instead, there were lights and magnets and pneumatic contraptions and sounds... So many cool puzzles.

I highly recommend Before Moonrise, both for existing fans and folks who've never tried an escape room – or those who would appreciate something more sophisticated than the escape rooms of the past.

Had a fantastic experience doing the Crypt with two others. The staff were attentive and quick to help with technical issues - something I've found lacking at other escape rooms. The puzzles were creative and engaging, and the monitoring staff provided appropriate guidance when needed. Left feeling thoroughly entertained and eager to try their other rooms.

I can’t emphasize enough how awesome of an experience this escape room was! I was part of a group of 8 who did Before Moonrise. Everything was so well thought out and entertaining with clever puzzles and amazing features. This was my favorite escape room to date! I’ll definitely be back to try my luck with the rest of the rooms
