Great service and rates. Scheduling via phone was quick & easy with friendly service. The driver, Eugene, came to my house early and very nicely told me to take my time. Bizarrely as I was walking back out to get into the van (which was clean) I got a text that my flight was cancelled (I guess better than on the way) making the ride unneeded. Eugene was understanding and after calling Essex they were also understanding refunded my fare. So, while I didn't actually ride everything else was handled easily with great customer service. I will call again when I need another ride! Thank you!

I’ve ridden with Essex Taxi on quite a few occasions and found their management and drivers professional, on time, easy to talk to and their rates reasonable. The first time I used them was in April 2021 and needed to get to Hartford about 45 minutes away in the early morning and then picked up later that day. The second time I needed help I had on a neck brace and couldn’t drive. When I went back to work, I didn’t think twice and gave Essex Taxi a call. If you need to get somewhere and can’t get a ride call Essex Taxi.

Booked with them for the first time, coming home from OSTS. The car was clean, and the driver was a younger guy, really nice. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area!

Never rely on them worst Service,
First of he was arranged 12pm,
12:03pm he stated he’s pulling up, and he disappears no calls, no answer,
very unprofessional,
plus they could be scammers because landline host from San Juan Puerto Rico.
once again never rely on them worst Taxi Service.

Called three times trying to schedule a pick-up...first call I was told I’d get a call back in 15 minutes-which I didn’t. Second try I was told I ‘d get a call back between 1:00pm and 1:30pm-which I didn’t. Third try was told they were booked. They portray themselves as a fleet of cabs, but I suspect the “fleet” is only one woman.
