Melissa was incredible to work with. Melissa was wonderful to work with for our wedding in October! We started working with her 3 months before the wedding which was a huge help. She was so organized!! She had a very calming presence and any ideas we had she would execute with ease and without judgement! It was so helpful to have her as a sounding board throughout the wedding process. She helped us out so much on the wedding day which allowed us to enjoy the day to the fullest. We had a hiccup here and there on the wedding day (to be expected) and she took action and took care of it without causing us any stress. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU NEED A WEDDING PLANNER!! Melissa & the entire Events by Missy Team are absolute GODSENDS. Melissa went above and beyond what I could have ever wished for in a wedding planner. She was always 100% on top of every little detail, really made my husband and myself feel special and like a priority, and thought of absolutely everything. We had some pretty unique requests and she was able to grasp our vision and make it all come to life. My mother and sister could not get over what a phenomenal job Melissa did--especially after a less than ideal experience with a planner for my sister's wedding years ago. I remember initially thinking the cost for wedding planning was expensive....but I truly cannot believe the Events by Missy team doesn't charge more. We opted for the full service planning and I cannot imagine having pulled off any of our wedding without them. The biggest bargain in the whole wedding game! Leading up to the wedding, everyone in my life kept asking me if I was nervous and I honestly wasn't because I knew everything was in great hands. I cannot thank Melissa, Amanda and Sandra enough for helping us make our unique wedding an absolute dream. I had COUNTLESS guests come up to me and tell me it was the BEST wedding they've ever been to. My only complaint---I wish Events by Missy was available to manage the rest of my life!!!!

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for Melissa and all that she did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect!! We did month of coordination services (my sister referred to it as an my sister referred to it as a day of coordinator but Melissa worked with us for months prior to the wedding!) & it was the best experience. Melissa was a dream! She immediately made us feel calm, as she had everything in control. I’m a very “type A” person and initially thought that I wouldn’t need assistance, but I’m so glad that I hired Events by Missy. Melissa jumped on phone calls with us, answered all of our questions, referred an amazing hair & make up team & took away a lot of the pre-wedding worries about everything going exactly the way we wanted it to. On the day of, everything went so well, and we have Melissa and her assistant’s to thank for that. If we did it all again, we would still choose Events by Missy & Company!!

Melissa was incredible. She helped us plan everything from start to finish for our destination wedding in NYC in under 6 months and executed flawlessly! She kept us on schedule and thought of details we would have definitely missed. On the day Melissa and her team made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. She put out a LITERAL fire at the venue (drunk guests & candles don’t mix) without guests noticing. We absolutely loved working with Melissa and would recommend 100/10!! She is worth the investment in your sanity!

Ok I really was one of those brides thinking I could plan my whole wedding alone. I got as far as researching venues- got super overwhelmed and reached out to Melissa. Best. Decision. Ever. Looking back at how much went into the day I honestly cannot even imagine what an epic disaster it would've been to do alone!! Melissa and her team were seriously so amazing. Even my mom was remarking on how hands on they were the day of (and she is not an easy one!). Seriously I cannot thank Events by Missy enough, the vendors they recommended were perfect, my design was epic and still to this day my friends are saying it was one of the most fun weddings- which really was the goal! I wish I could relive the day again and again!!! Melissa gets all the stars!!!

Lost in this wedding planning mess and need a wedding bff that will help you along the way never letting you down? Creative, patient, knowledgeable and professional. I could think of more adjectives but then I’ll just get lost in the list. Melissa was our wedding bestie and killed it! 2 months later and guests are still raving about the wedding and the superb orchestration of the event. My husband and I knew one thing, we wanted a non-traditional memorable wedding and from the moment Melissa found us our venue (Botanical gardens BXNY) we knew it was meant to be. From then until the day of our wedding (a rainy day with lots of moving pieces) Melissa & crew worked their magic. And we will always be thankful for them 🙂 If you need someone who’s ready to think outside of the box with you, no judgement just genuine…choose Events by Missy, I promise you won’t regret it
