Having our wedding at the Wedgewood Elk Grove location, Evergreen Springs, was one of the best decisions we ever made. The venue itself is very modern, clean, and spacious. Anelise took wonderful care of us in the months leading up to our big day. She was very transparent with us every step of the way. During our in-depth meetings, she always provided us with examples of things we could choose from. If we wanted to change something we had already decided on, she was quick and smooth with updating our preferences. Anelise was also very fun to be with! Her kind nature, patience, and gentle demeanor helped us relax while we made the important decisions for our big day.

Our day-of coordinator Kali was just as amazing. On our rehearsal day, our parents requested to change the formation of the tables. While we, the couple, were worried about this being a big request so close to the event day, Kali was able to shift the tables to their desired locations. She went above and beyond for us many times. From organizing our ceremony decor that we brought in, to fixing our janky boutonnieres on the day of, Kali took care of it all! Her level-headedness helped us stay calm during times when we would have probably freaked out.

When the change from Kali to our buffet captain happened, we were taken care of by Madelyn. She clearly instructed us how to cut the cake and even packed us some leftover dinner and cake that didn't even make it to the next day. Upon clean up, she was very efficient and organized with giving her team instructions all while still being very kind to us. Even though she was the member we interacted with the least, while being caught up in the late-night fun, she still left a lasting impression on us.

Overall, we highly recommend booking with Evergreen Springs by Wedgewood Weddings. Their team wonderfully took care of us from the moment we booked with them to our special day. Even the next day, when we realized that we had forgotten some decor, they had everything neatly packed and ready to grab for us. Our wedding day is easily the best day of our lives and we definitely could not have done that without the Wedgewood venue or team. The theme for our wedding was video games and everything came together perfectly. They had brought the vision of our wedding to life in ways we didn't even think were possible. For the rest of our lives, we will tell our friends and families to have a Wedgewood wedding because of how magical the night had been. Thanks to Wedgewood Weddings, we were able to save these epic memories even after our wedding had powered down. Once again, thank you Wedgewood Weddings, and specifically the Evergreen Springs team for everything that you have done for us.

My event was in mid March 2024, and we toured Evergreen Springs and booked them in late 2022. Even though the team did not start actively reaching out to work on detail planning until 4 months before our event (per how they work!), every time I had questions before then and emailed the team, they responded super quick and always answered my questions.

We loved how they had items included in their packages, including DJ, catering/bar, floral, photographer, officiant, and grand sparkler entrance. Even though some required extra cost, it was helpful for us to add just a bit more $ but less headache having to find another vendor. Also, in our detail planning, we found out they let you use their lanterns, votives, vases, and easels for no charge at all on the day - that was a pleasant surprise. The team even helps charge items overnight (such as our bubble guns), prepares petals for the ceremony walkway if you purchase the flowers and give them to them during your rehearsal; and even gave us a beautiful gift to us before the end of the night on our event. In conclusion when it came to our team (Kali & Anelise), they were phenomenal, and I would never stop recommending them.

The only items we were a bit upset about were:
- even though you do not need to pay 25% until 6 months before the event and the rest 50% 10 days prior, keep in mind the Elk Grove tax increases every year. So we were hit with some more fees, which I did not account for when budgeting
- the photography team (API) did not reach out to us until we mentioned this to Anelise during our last detail meeting (10 days prior), and she reached out to them. API did send me a nice long email explaining that they normally don't until the week of, but promised they would start reaching out to their clients sooner so it doesn't become another couple's last-week stress factor. The photos came out super gorgeous though (ask for sunset pics!)
- same issue with the DJ. The event binder said to email him our song list a month before, which we did, but we didn't hear back from him until the week before. Again, he noted it was due to wanting to have details fresh in his mind for the event. That made sense, but on the day, he still overlooked a few items we asked for. For example, we were under the impression that he was going to play songs from our Spotify playlist ONLY for the dance party, but he only used some of the songs for reference; he said that he does not play the full songs to rotate more songs, but he did on the day for the dance party (some guests also mentioned the song transitions were off); a few announcements were not made clear (such as announcing cake cutting or the taco bar)
- could not find the banquet captain after the reception/our event coordinator left for the day. Communication with the ES team went kind of downhill after Kali left.

Besides the frustrations mentioned above, we loved Evergreen Springs and would recommend it. Just make sure your communicate with them and their vendors very clearly. There is plenty of parking, a huge and beautiful bathroom for guests (very important), a beautiful getting ready room for the bride with a private bathroom, and as mentioned a wonderful team.

I had the pleasure of photographing a lot of weddings at Evergreen Springs by Wedgewood Weddings, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the experience. As a wedding photographer, finding the right backdrop and atmosphere is crucial, and Evergreen Springs exceeded all expectations. The stunning natural beauty of the venue, from the lush gardens to the elegant gazebo, provided the perfect canvas for capturing timeless moments. We came here for a friend's wedding and it had a modern charm to it. The bathrooms are so clean and there is a diaper changing table if you are bringing your babies. The in-house catering was good with the carving station, variety of salads and other dishes.

Working with Wedgewood Evergreen Springs was great! We enjoyed getting to know each of their staff members and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated how flexible and accommodating the venue was to our requests and changes to wedding plans, and for their quick responses to emails. Keilah did a great job as our coordinator and she even wrote us a thank-you note for allowing us to have her on our special day. A few little details that occurred on our wedding day that we did not think about but greatly appreciated:
- banquet staff gave us both a box of leftovers from our wedding dinner, which was very sweet since our day went by so quickly and we had a busy itinerary
- we received boxes of leftover cutting cake too! More cake to enjoy
- They gave us a wedding photo from our ceremony which was a sweet gift!
- DJ was receptive to making announcements when requested
- Air conditioning was working well. This summer 2024 has been super hot and we were grateful that the AC worked.

The only things we noticed that could have gone better was the timing of serving cake to our guests. We were able to do the cake cutting on time but the rest of the cake to be served to our guests was not served until about 15-20 minutes later.

Overall, my husband and I would describe Evergreen Springs as simple elegance with a classic contemporary feel. It was just the right size for our wedding and all of our guests enjoyed our celebration.

We got our original venue in Sacramento canceled last minute, 3 weeks before our wedding date in April 2021. I started searching for a new venue frantically and luckily Evergreen Springs had my date available. I already had all my vendors scheduled since my wedding was technically only 3 weeks away. I was worried that I would have to cancel on some vendors due to this last minute switch but Evergreen let me keep all my original vendors and worked with me so fast. Natalie and Lucy were super responsive and very accommodating and guided me through all the last minute switch and details. Honestly, my wedding turned out to be better than what it would have been at the original site. My guests raved about the food and went for seconds. Thank you for making my dream wedding come true with only 3 weeks to go and being so accommodating. We are so glad that things didn't work out with our original venue and got to find your perfect spot!
