The manager, Vaughn, is excellent. Some of the staff, on the other hand, needs to take a course on what true hospitality means. The property itself is beautiful and safe, but the service by one specific employee in particular was so bad it finally tipped me over into leaving a review. For the thousands of dollars I paid during the course of my stay, I expect to feel welcomed into every public space in the hotel, rather than told where I can and can't eat, can and can't sit. I'm not the only one who's had problems sitting in the lobby of my own booking, if you read the other reviews. If hospitality isn't part of your culture, you shouldn't be running a hotel. And if you can't treat guests as valued guests, you shouldn't be in a public-facing position of service. A decent stay that could have been great with better staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at the country inn & suites. We are members and they always give us great deals. They provide us with a great start to the day with a hot breakfast as well as a continental breakfast, the rooms were clean, we had a beautiful sweet and everything was good. Thanks for the smiles at the front desk and the fresh towels from housekeeping you guys always do a great job Thanks!

I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions within a six-week period, due to the playoffs and holidays. The first stay was satisfactory, despite being allocated a mid-grade room. However, during my second visit, I inadvertently left my AirPods on the bed and contacted the hotel the same day, but unfortunately, they were never recovered. On my third stay, I booked a single night and requested a late checkout to finalize arrangements for an additional night. The manager informed me that only a 30-minute extension was possible. Furthermore, he mentioned that had I booked directly through the hotel or their loyalty program, which I had done on both previous nights, I would have been eligible for a late checkout of up to two hours. The following morning, I requested a late checkout and was granted an additional 45 minutes, citing limited housekeeping staff, despite fewer than 10 guests having stayed the previous night. I found the manager's demeanor to be somewhat discriminatory, and his subsequent behavior was unprofessional. This experience was particularly disappointing, as I had given the hotel multiple opportunities to provide satisfactory service.

Had a weekend trip there and had nothing but issues. The first room i was assigned to would not lock. i could open the door without the key like the door was unlocked. the second room i was in had no A/C and the fridge was leaking. And I also got random charges from the hotel. What a genuine nightmare. The only thing that was ok was service.

Right off 70, it is convenient for those traveling across the state. The hotel is being updated so work does happen from 9a-9p- but our stay was quiet, the works polite and in our experience no disruption. We had a recently updated room. It was very clean, spacious, the king bed was COMFY, and so were the pillows! The included breakfast isn’t bad, microwaved egg patties, sausages (tasted good!), waffles, yogurt, bagels/toast and coffees & juices- the standard hotel breakfast.
The best part was Elijah - such a nice, helpful young man. My first rooms door didn’t lock and I told Elijah and he switched me right away.
Very happy with my stay when you are road weary and ready to drop.

the room smelled terrible. the A/C barely worked. the drain in the shower hardly worked so while we showered the tub filled up and took an hour to drain. the shower head is broken so it sprays outside of the shower so it gets the floor soaked. the bed was very uncomfortable. the parking was terrible, half of the spots were filled with planks and trash. the cereal at their breakfast is stale. spend the extra money and get a decent hotel instead of staying here. the only pro about this place is that it’s right next to a couple fast food places.

Construction currently going on and the place was filthy. Bugs all throughout the hallways and entrance, muddy shoe prints all over hallways, the back patio was a mess with beer bottles/cans and garbage all over the grass area..the luggage carriers were so wobbly and/or broken that they were not usable.. The breakfast was doable but not great.. the rooms were decent but no fan in the bathroom. It smelt like a muddy pond in the bathroom.. don't understand why they have nice Smart MIRROS in the bathrooms...that's the last thing that needed to be upgraded in that hotel. Didn't even want to attempt the pool... The guy who checked us in, was not very pleasant. Couldn't even tell us which was to go for our rooms. It was a decent stay otherwise, but would not recommend staying during their construction.

I went here with my boyfriend and his family and this place was unfortunately terrible. The only good thing was the bed. They were super comfortable. But the shower and sink drains were super slow, toilet seats were wobbly, air conditioner was leaking, pieces of wood and old furniture taking parking spots, pool had foam/soap in it, super small (and closed) fitness center, gnats all in the room, kids shouting all hours of the night, I would not recommend staying here. I hope after the renovations things get better.
