The front desk people were downright surly. The maid knocked on our door, even though we hadn't checked out yet. But, I must say, this is the first hotel room I've had since Covid that did daily maid service! The room was very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening. We were the only ones in the pool area. There was some noise, but nothing that is not expected at a hotel. The free breakfast was really quite good!

Room was warm when I checked in but cooled down eventually. Would have been more convenient if they had turned the AC down a little closer to check-in time. The room had a mini-fridge with a small freezer compartment. There were a couple of outlets on the bedside lamp. Bathroom had a shower/tub combo with an adjustable showerhead, a grab bar for safety, and somewhat of an anti-slip surface. Water pressure was okay. The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast and complimentary parking.

Everything was awesome, from the room to the pool and fitness to the breakfast, very clean and welcoming and had every amenity we needed. The tv was the largest I ever seen in a hotel room. The fitness area was very modern and all machines worked. The staff was sharp and helpful at all times.

Very clean. Nice, comfortable bed. Quiet. Good breakfast and it was well kept up. Great room and bathroom was clean and updated. Friendly staff. A+

Okay, where to start?||1. They do not have an airport shuttle after midnight. This is NOT stated on their website claiming to be an "airport" hotel.||2. It took a bit to get a $27.50 ride that was less than 2 miles to this hotel||3. The "lady' at the front desk hates her job.||4. When I said these things, she comment was take it up with management. She said they never listen to them etc (she hates her job) I said I would and I will drive the point home at this point, I guess this flipped her lid. She slaps the keys on the counter after several guffaws and such. I picked them up the same way she slapped them down.||5. This really set her off and she got nasty. I told her I picked them up the same darn way she slapped them down. She said f*ck you, I said it back and she kept going and going, at this point I felt the need to keep her going as I walked to the elevator and she did not disappoint. This hotel is clearly poorly run. The employees hate their job and the "guests" are clearly a nuisance to them. Short of me yelling or getting out of line there is no cause for her mouth, other than she is a miserable human being (at least tonight).||||I had a second reservation for tomorrow night and I cancelled it and will be staying downtown. I only hope that hotel is not under the same management (stay tuned)||||When you are traveling, things don't always go well. This was a long day and it was made far worse by Brandy. Brandy is not a happy person and she hates her job. My guess is the shuttle driver does and probably everyone else here does as well. I will make sure this one is on the never again list. That makes 2 or 3 over the last 30 years, quite an accomplishment a few minutes into the stay. If you are flying into Des Moines it is advisable to prearrange transportation as the airport and the surrounding hotels are not up to the simple task of getting you to the hotel. When you call them out, they are not capable of a rational response or anything even remotely professional.

Stayed one night in the middle of the week in May of 2024.||Check in was smooth, the girl working the front desk was very friendly. The room itself was ok, nothing great. It was pretty warm in the room when we arrived (maybe 75) so we turned down the thermostat like we always do. The room never got cold. That made our sleep miserable. Also, the curtains would not close either. I told the lady at checkout about the temperature issue and she said it was because of no movement in the room the temperature would not change. We stayed in 6 different hotels on our trip and this was the first one like that.||Also, we had an issue with the pool. We went down to the pool and their were some grandparents sitting around watching kids playing in the hot tub. They got out when we arrived and got in the regular pool which was filled with pool toys. They were diving (not allowed). When we got into the pool one of the kids almost drowned.

Nice hotel near airport. Has park and fly. Flat parking rate for park and fly of $40.00 for maximum 14 days. Has free shuttle to airport. Also next door to Johnnys Steakhouse. Have stated here several times. Front desk staff always very nice. No problems.
