Enjoyed staying there with family. My room had been remodeled on the 3rd floor beds were comfortable bathroom was clean towels were new. Swimming pool was still being remodeled 1st and 2nd floor was open. Breakfast was good area kept clean.

We were welcomed at the front desk by a representative dressed with his shirt inside out and green spiked hair. Then arrived a little later to our room greeted by a human hair on one of the beds. Very was very disturbing not knowing what else we would experience later in the visit. The hotel was under renovation which we weren’t made aware of. This was evident in the condition of the elevator.

Obviously, they don't know what they are doing. I booked a room (Priceline) and called the hotel to change it for another day due to a rescheduling of a concert in the area, but Dana said she would have to cancel the room and I could rebook and she would refund the money. I called 3 times she said she refunded the money but doesn't know who it went to. She sent me to her manager and I had to leave 2 messages and still no phone call back. They either don't know how to do their job or pocketed the money. Now we are out $116. and no one seems to care. Still fighting it though. 😡

Under renovation, not the issue. The room we were given should NOT be rented at all until fixed. Mattress was stained badly, comforter in the same spot which makes me think it was not cleaned AT ALL!

Was given a second room that I had to clean all surfaces because it was dirty also. We traveled 500 miles this day in pouring rain, we should have gone elsewhere. I truly hope after their renovation, they retrain the cleaning staff. It was bad. Definitely NOT a MARRIOTT standard type of experience.

First, when I make a reservation through the Bonvoy app, I assume it's not under construction. We arrive, and not only are there signs saying "forgive our mess," but the public restroom is inaccessible because the first floor is under construction. But the desk attendant said I could use it as long as I take the elevator to the second floor, walk down the stairs, and through an active construction area (no liability there at all), to use it.

Second, it's not just the first floor being renovated; it's the first and third floors. And apparently they work all through the day, hammering and banging around. When I called the desk on Thanksgiving day, post-meal, when half the country expects to have a nice long nap after ingesting entirely too much food, I was told yes, they're working until 7PM. No apology, no "I'm sorry, I can maybe ask them to work somewhere else OTHER THAN RIGHT ABOVE YOU..."

Third, the room itself was not worthy of the Marriott name, I frankly can't believe they let them use it. AC/HVAC/heat impossible to control from ancient wall unit that pushed out musty, mildewy air; mini-fridge had a constant pool of water in it; there were no privacy shears on the windows, only the blinds; the body wash in the room was completely out (though they did promptly provide when requested, I don't understand how the room isn't ready for guests); the toilet seat was loose; they ran out of H&H and I had a choice of oat milk or non-dairy creamer.

I'm a business traveler, and actually don't have super high expectations for rooms, especially ones at this price. I know you "get what you pay for." But I am a loyal Marriott guest and 99% of the time I stay at Fairfield Inns because they're the right price and clean and quiet (if there are kids or other travelers, I know the hotel can't do much about that in most cases). I pay for the basics, I expect the basics. This experience didn't even meet basic standards for a Fairfield Inn.

I will start by saying you get what you pay for. We were traveling for business and my husband's company took care of the lodging. This was most certainly not my choice. The location was good and luckily within close proximity to food options. The staff is less than pleasant. I understand this might not be your job of choice but you are in the hospitality industry and so I think a smile or pleasant tone is not asking much. The rooms are dated and damaged. Bedding most certainly needs an upgrade but appeared clean upon our inspection. The desk chair was in pretty rough shape. Not all outlets were in working order. The A/C was not very cold. The biggest issue for me was the lack of cleanliness. Crumbs on the tables and floor, fingerprints on the lamps and TV, the mini fridge had food particles in the bottom but the worst was the bathroom. It smelled of urine and by the looks of the baseboards it's no surprise. The mirror was dirty with toothpaste and water spots, the shower was very stained and the towels were very thin and worn. They do offer a free breakfast but I have honestly had better food from a gas station. I will also mention they are completely cashless. Overall I would definitely not recommend staying here and the only true positive is we did not see any bugs.

Red head lady at front desk should be replaced. Very cocky and rude. Upon greeting totally disrespectful. Room was dirty found used plastic silverware on floor. Dresser beaten up bad. Renovation so noisy.

Awful experience staying here. First room was directly across from the elevator, so into the early hours of the morning the elevator kept waking us along with all the rude guests talking loudly. The room had a shower that drained extremely slowly and the AC didn't work properly, so the room was probably 76 degrees instead of 68 like we had it set. We slept very poorly the first night. After getting our room switched, we discovered the AC didn't operate whatsoever without continuously messing with the controls, so we again slept in a way too hot room. Also, the curtains didn't close, so the bright lights from the neighboring hotel shone in our room the whole night. I don't think I've ever slept so poorly in a hotel before. Considering the price of our room, it is pretty shameful to have this sort of experience.
