Our overall experience was great! The Hotel is clean! The pillows and bed are very comfortable! The shower was very nice, with adjustable stream choices. The soap products were pleasantly aromatic...not too perfume.
Beware of dropping anything black on that (weird color scheme) carpet. If landed on the black, it may take some minutes to find it. Remember exacting, where you put your black shoes/slippers so you don't trip on them while looking for them😂 even with the lights on😂😂.

The overall staff were courteous and attentive to the small things. *Thank you Christian for always saying, "Good morning and Good afternoon!" 🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️ Thank you for providing hot beverages when needed on your shift! 💛 When you were on shift we did not have to pour cold coffee (that coffee taste better than coffee in the room) or water and then go to our room to heat it in he microwave.🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️

More tea flavors could be added. 😉

1 staff member seem to forgotten, the rule, The customer Matters, especially when the extended hour was granted, then you call us to remove it, after it was already granted. This back & forth went on for about an hour. If you have the authority to remove It, Then Surely you have the authority to grant It...I guess you had a "jerkish attitude"😒 that morning. I hope things get better in your life, so you can feel better, be better at customer service & be sweeter to others!

Through prayer, asking the Lord for a change of (non compassionate) heart and (nasty) attitude for her, our extended hour was regranted!😃 Thank You!

I truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has been remodeled since my last visit. I had the best room with sunset views. From the time I arrived, I was greeted with very warm and caring staff at the front desk including Christian, Naomi, and Teng. Thank you Brandon for assisting me, again, with my reservations. Thanks also, to Stephanie who does such a great job providing the best breakfast for us. Great clean hotel, great staff, great location. Will be returning.

For the most part it was a great stay. Breakfast was better and fresher on the weekend.
The General Manager was awful, tried adding additional fees onto our bill! The nerve.
Christian C was excellent! He was a pleasure to deal with .Kudos to Christian C. wish he was the General Manager at this site!!

Perfect for a quick overnight trip. The design of the hotel isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and quiet and gets the job done. Needed somewhere to stay between Hartford and New Haven on a road trip and this was the right location for the right price.

Not up to standards. Front desk clerk was new and tried to help us with list of places to eat. Her supervisor, presumably, came to help. She had nothing to say and when we asked what was going on she told us to wait After more than 5 minutes we left and asked to drop list by our room or email it. Later on when we went out the supervisor was sitting in her office scrolling on phone. The new clerk tried but she didn’t know how to find things. Poor customer service especially for an elite bonvoy member. TV kept disconnecting.

I was recently in the area for a meeting and had to stay at a hotel unexpectedly. After a long call with Marriott customer service to make the reservation, I arrived at the hotel, exhausted from my meeting and traveling all day. Maggie and Jessica were extremely nice and helpful and made me feel welcome. I rested comfortably in a very clean, well supplied room. The next morning I met Stephanie who made the breakfast area very inviting. She kept it clean and stocked. She was so nice and friendly.

I have seen many reviews here and there and people always complain about negative experiences, rarely do people take a moment to acknowledge and show appreciation for staff who love their jobs and do what is necessary to make a customer’s encounter pleasant. I wanted to give my unsolicited feedback to thank Maggie, Jessica, and Stephanie and let them know how wonderful they made my visit and to invite others to this Fairfield Marriott in Wallingford.
You will not be sorry!!

Absolut horror this hotel, a gang of hockey kids were hunting from morning till late night through the floors, screamed and yelled all day long. Front desk staff said only… its not so easy to do something against it! Thats also a way to lose long term customers! Charging $225 for a night, with no sleep….awesome! Last time I‘ve been there

My wife and I always stay at the Fairfield in Wallingford when passing thru town.|It’s very clean, rooms comfortable, conveniently located - but |in truth all similar hotels offer the same amenities.|Why we always stay here is the most friendly and accommodating |staff. From housekeeping to front desk to breakfast attendant all|are great. Parking easy and free.
