Five stars!!! The owner accompanied us on this kayak adventure in this family-owned business. The owner and his employees are all locals and can tell you the history and information about the community. They took and posted pictures of us for free. The provided lots of information and answered all of our questions. They laughed and talked, and I made us feel at home. They provided water and snacks. We got to hold a sea star and a crab.
We even saw whales at a distance.

We weren’t sure where to go to begin with but getting off the boat. It was easy. Go through door two and walk to the excursion hub. Somebody was waiting there gave us a tag and guided us to our shuttle. The owner was waiting as we got off the shuttle.

You don’t even get in the water or water on you. They provide all of the equipment you could possibly need we were warm and comfortable. I highly recommend this company.

It was a beautiful day for our excursion! The very knowledgable and friendly crew, took us through the very scenic shoreline. We saw so many eagles along the way, and educated us on so many things about the area. We all loved it! Thank you so much for sharing your love for the water, and nature with us.

5 thousand stars!! The best thing you can do on a stop in Icy Straight Point. Excellent customer service. They picked us up, outfitted us in waterproof gear, got us in the water and we had a fantastic time with Dave. He's definitely more than just a pretty face ;). He was knowledgeable, entertaining and very patient. It was a very professional outfit that took great care of us. We saw whale tails, lots of eagles and sea lions pretty close up. My husband had a boot on his leg from a recent broken ankle and he was still able to go on this excursion because of their help. We can't recommend them enough. Cody, Michelle and Dave were top notch and trustworthy.

We found this via google maps. After talking to Cody over email and phone, we booked using Fairweather's website. Dave ended taking us on our kayaking tour. Fairweather was great! Cody answered all my questions before booking & Dave was knowledgeable and friendly. Whether you dock at Wilderness Landing or Cannery, they're pretty close walking distance to the Excursion Hub where you meetup where you'll meet up with someone who will bus you to the town of Hoonah where you'll start your kayaking.

We had an amazing time with Cody and his team. We were able to get in touch with him pretty last minute the night before and he was very flexible with us and got us out on the water the next afternoon with no problems. The equipment was high quality, the logistics were easy, and it was really fun talking to our guide while out there and sightseeing. They sent us off with some really great high quality photos too. I really recommend this company.

Myself and my mom were on the Alaska cruise at the end of May/early June. We are pretty active people and enjoy the outdoors! We got lucky and it was just the two of us with the guide, Dave. We had a great experience and had great views, saw eagles, bears and other animals! Awesome experience and would recommend to anyone. We kayaked pretty far since it was a small group, the water was good and we were fast. However, even if you don't go as far as we did, you would still get to see a ton!

We had pretty meh weather. Was raining for part of it, but was still a great experience and you're given all the gear you could possibly need! Everyone was so nice and I wish I could go again!

My husband and I kayaked with Fairweather Kayaks as a part of our cruise (we booked independently from
our cruise) and the staff were amazing! We learned a lot about the animals in the area and saw beautiful mountains from the water. We went further than just near the harbour which was really nice! I highly recommend Fairweather Kayaks! They also provided us photos included with our ticket of us kayaking that date which was a great bonus!

Of all the tours I took while in Alaska this trip into the bay with Fairweather Kayaks was my favorite. Always safely, we watched whales jump, eagles soar, otters play, sea lions bob, and bears roam. Thank you for creating a few moments of joy for me. I would recommend you to everyone.
