Absolutely breathtaking plane ride. Best part is landing in the middle of Misty Fjord, getting out and breathing the fresh crisp air, listening to the birds and nothing else. We hit the lottery with clear sunny skies. One of the best adventures I've ever been on.

Pilot Jim was the best part of our day in Ketchikan! Great local knowledge on an absolutely breathtaking flight over Misty Fjords (with the opportunity to step onto land!), plus he willingly worked around our ferry schedule, AND we spotted a whale, all for a reasonable price. Thank you Jim!!

What an amazing experience! Jim is an incredible pilot, he took us around to see beautiful Alaska and we even were able to land in a lake and get out of the plane to take in all scenery. I would 100% recommend doing this tour if you are in Ketchikan.

The fly-out kayak tour in the Misty Fjords is, by far, the coolest way I’ve ever experienced them. We are long time locals who were stoked to go on this new tour offered by Family Air. It’s a totally unique experience that combines two of the most fun activities in Southeast Alaska. It was an unforgettable day filled with adventure and stunning scenery!

Our family had an unforgettable experience with Family Air Tour! From the moment we took off in the seaplane, the views were absolutely breathtaking. The flight was smooth, scenic, and such a unique way to see the area.

After landing, we went fly fishing with our guide, Evan — and he was incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, and super patient, especially with the kids. He made the whole trip fun and relaxing, and even helped us reel in a few great catches!

From the jump, Jim was cool, calm & competent - essential traits for a bush pilot! He was a lot of fun & his landings were smooth as butter. Cyrus and Sam were great too! Everyone was easy to chat with. This isn’t their first rodeo, their insight was appreciated for a couple on our first time to POW. Thank you for going the extra mile (or a few rather) for us! Had a great 2 hour seaplane tour of Misty Fjords National Monument with Family Air Tours. Our excellent pilot, Jim flew us up to Big Goat Lake. The weather was perfect and the views were stunning. Jim was personable, knowledgeable, and funny. And we enjoyed the trip immensely.
