I had a great trip to Myanmar with Far and High. While planning the trip, they were very responsive to all my questions, and their support in-country was wonderful. We had great guides throughout the country and all the transport (planes, boats, motor bikes, horse carts, etc. . . . ) went without a hitch. The hotels were the best available, with great accommodations and wonderful, big breakfasts. We were lucky to be at Inle Lake during a big Buddhist Festival and it was terrific. We had front row seats for the whole parade. I would recommend them wholeheartedly .

I went with a group of ten to Tibet and really enjoyed it. Postak and his company had everything done perfectly for our group. The guide was good, hotels were nice, meals were fine and I couldn't have asked for a better trip. If you get the chance to do Tibet with Far & High Adventure, do it. Everest Base Camp is beautiful and so is the monestary that you stay at.

Our trip to Nepal was more than we ever imagined! We had Far & High arrange The Everest Luxury Lodge Trek to the Khumbu Region in Nepal. The coordination of the trip, guide, and porter were second to none. They guided us to areas we could not have done on our own. The guide and porter very friendly and vistas magnificent! We have used Far & High twice- Nepal and a separate trip to India. We would highly recommend Far & High Adventure Travel for any vacation they offer.

A friend and I joined a Far & High Adventure Travel small group tour of Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet (7 people in total). It was a fantastic trip and we never worried about a thing ! The guides were knowledgeable and personable and we were transported everywhere in a comfortable van. They kept a supply of bottled water in the van so we didn't even have to worry about keeping hydrated ! A totally fantastic experience all the way through - the trip of a lifetime !

Far and High put together an amazing and memorable itinerary for our trip to Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet! I did my homework and compared with other companies what they had offered and priced. I always check their rating with the BBB in their city of operation, Minn., MN. Another seasoned traveler on the trip with us did his homework , too, before choosing Far and High to travel with. We knew we were in good hands at a fair price.
Postak ‘s connections in the countries visited were superb. All the native guides were fluent in speaking English, as if they were from the US. All were knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating to our needs. The hotels were all nice and comfortable. F& H even tries to have you experience the life of locals such as enjoying a hot stone bath in Bhutan and riding a rickshaw in Nepal.
You will be very happy and satisfied if you choose Far and High for your travel to the Himalayan countries. Thank you, Postak for a great trip!

Our trip to Nepal was incredible! Postak's arrangements with the best guide, Dhiren Bahing, and our outstanding hotel of the Maya Manor Hotel far exceeded our expectations. Influenced by India and Tibet this country is a wealth of cultural experiences. The history, the religions and the people all around are something to experience and Far & High Adventures cannot be out done by any other!!!!👍👍👍👍

We are home again after our very enjoyable and memorable trip to Bhutan. All travel arrangements were smooth and on time, and we were delighted with our guide and our driver, both of whom spoke excellent English. They made a great team, both contributing to the amenities and our satisfaction with every aspect of the trip.

The hotels were very spacious and pleasant and the dining opportunities, both in restaurants and the hotels were good, but there was not much variety in the meals overall. We are not sure if this is because we were considered outsiders and the local food is very spicy, or because we were served traditional meals each time. One of the hotels had a more Indian menu and that was a nice change. We did try the chilis with cheese sauce…good but very spicy, and we loved the momos!

We do have a couple of suggestions:
• This trip was our first every exposure to Vajrayana Buddhism and we found it very complicated to understand, although our guide did a great job. However, we were able to recognize some of the deities and symbols by the end of the trip. If Far and Wide could suggest a reading or short book about the religion of Bhutan it would be beneficial.
• And since we had to remove our shoes so many times, it might be suggested that footwear with Velcro closures rather than shoelaces would be easier.

There were so many memorable moments and events on this trip that it is difficult to choose one that stands out more than others. We enjoyed the mask festival and the Blessed Rainy Day picnic on the river, and are proud that we hiked to the Tiger’s Nest. It did take us longer than the usual time, but it was well worth it, and the hot stone bath must have taken care of our muscles as we did not suffer any ache or pain the next day.

Outstanding!!! Postak from Far and High Adventure Travel put together a wonderful private trip for my wife and me to Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Laos in October 2018. He helped us to decide where and when to go to best enjoy the experience. He arranged for the hotels, guides, sight seeing, and inter/intra - country flights. He either secured or arranged for the visas we needed in every country. We had our own guide and driver in every country. The hotels were excellent. The guides all spoke English very well and were very accommodating to our requests. Postak was easy to work with and his communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The entire trip was very reasonably priced for all of the services being provided. If you are planning a trip to South or Southeast Asia, we highly recommend that you contact Postak at Far and High Adventure Travel. He will do a great job in helping you plan a memorable vacation.
