Field and Fort has a beautiful patio that we enjoyed sitting out on. We got the roasted cauliflower salad and the italian ham sandwich. The salad was good but the ham sandwich was amazing. It took a while to get our food (30+ min) but I enjoyed sitting on the nice porch while waiting. It was also nice to look through the attached store. Overall, I was happy to have come here and enjoyed our food.

The name confused us, despite the unfortunate name of this establishment the food was great. We ordered 2 sandwiches and the bread is fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches were tasty. I went for the asparagus sandwich which is an unconventional choice for me and it was really good but to be honest she needed more of the beet hummus. Saw the roast beef going by and seems like that was the move.

Gorgeous cafe and home goods store. The coffee and pastries were great. Also, a nice board of pickles and bread. I liked the outdoor sitting under the trees. The store has some beautiful items. Not cheap but very nice.

“You’ve got to get the avacado toast!” is what I heard about Field and Fort. I thought it was good, but my breakfast sandwich was even better. There’s a nice patio to enjoy with friends while you get your day started. The accompanying shop appeared to be stocked with plenty of items to support your retail therapy. I’d go back again if we were in the area.

Lovely place and the food was terrific and beautiful presentation. It’s our new stop on our way from OC to Solvang and north of there. Thanks.

My daughter loves this place and took us there for lunch. The line was long and it took 30min to order then another 35/40min to get the food so quite long overall. They were nice enough to spontaneously bring us a free scone for dessert for the long wait. We all had sandwiches: the breakfast, the Reuben and grilled cheese, honestly they all were delicious!! We also had a coffee, lemonade and a fizzy drink plus a cheesecake, bill was $100 so not cheap. The shop is super nice with really cool bougie assortment, also not cheap but very beautiful.

I would eat here for every meal! We absolutely loved the breakfast hash and yogurt bowl. Their coffee and matcha was on point. It’s very clear that quality is of high important to this cafe and it really shows in presentation, ingredients and overall aesthetic. 🤤

For lunch, we had the Brie / fig jam baguette and the bread pudding. Did I mention the matcha!? 🙈🤭😀

Highly recommend an early morning visit or a quick stop in for lunch

This place is awesome for food and environment but instead of having a huge store of merchandise in the restaurant how about using some of the space to extend your kitchen so everyday at the lunch hour rush people don’t to wait 30 minutes, which is usual. The area selling nuts and pastries can be consolidated also so another register could go there instead of one slow moving line. Other restaurants manage these issues. 🤷‍♂️

A very nice to have breakfast or brunch. The view is very pretty, as well as the ambiance. But the food was the highlight and it was amazing!
The store had the cutest furniture and dinning ware.

It is family friendly but if you do have little ones that are a age that would love to explore I would avoid going into the store because of the glass items around the store!
