WOW!!! My wife and I love the Four Seasons brand, and over the past few years have planned most of our trips around staying at Four Seasons properties. While we live in California, we had not yet visited the Calistoga property. For our 20th anniversary we decided to book a quick trip to celebrate and check it out. Apparently this is a relatively newer Four Seasons, having just started in 2020/2021, and is attached to the Elusa Winery. ||The property is nestled into the valley with beautiful views surrounding the premises. The front office manager Franz was absolutely fantastic, connecting with us prior to our stay as well as within a few hours of us arriving. ||Let me just say that the rooms are phenomenal! All Four Seasons have their own unique style, charm, and personality, but this one is pretty spectacular. The scents from their bath products (Le Labo Hinoki) were enchanting, and the entire room experience alone was worth it for us. However, the pool and restaurants, and sunsets are magical. ||One of our favorite moments of our quick excursion was being able to check out bikes from the front desk. We rode into downtown Calistoga and checked out some of the shops and dining experiences. It's just a 15 min ride and a fun experience.||Four Seasons staff, you are truly incredible! Thank you for being a part of our lives over the past few years, and we look forward to our next stay with you. 20 years in the books for us with many adventures planned ahead.||Get ready for us, Four Seasons Madrid! The hotel is nice and clean, but it offers limited activities compared to other luxury hotels in the area—just a pool, fitness center, and wine tasting (which costs extra). Given this, the overall value for the price feels lacking. ||Additionally, I had a disappointing experience with the front desk during check-in, where the staff was unhelpful and created confusion about my reservation. Despite my efforts to enjoy the stay, this negatively impacted my experience. ||The breakfast was also quite average, and you can likely find better options elsewhere for the same cost.

Four Seasons Calistoga was a 5 star experience from the moment I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and amenities exceptional. The pool area was a lovely oasis and the gym was well equipped for a great workout. The onsite restaurant served the finest organic, delicious farm fresh foods. Overall, the attention to detail and level of service were truly exceptional.

I just spent close to $6000 on villa room for two nights
Issues
1. Our villa 1701 next to the main road and the parking so it gives you the feel of road side motel and street vehicle noise
2. We left the room at 9am for breakfast, spa treatment and entered back at 2pm and room is still not made up
3. Breakfast is very underwhelming at Truss. I ordered an omelette made with mushrooms and spinach and it was so bland. I requested salsa but they could not figure out the real salsa and I thought that I was in California so it would be easier
4. Spa story is strange. We got couple massage for 50 minutes and they charged $265 a person, reasonable but the option is to pay extra $35 for deep tissue, really? Is $265 for 50 minutes not enough that you have to nickel and dime?
Will not recommend to anyone.

We went to the Residence for a Napa wine tasting trip. Great service as always at a Four Seasons. Restaurants on site were also wonderful. Very attentive staff.

Phenomenal from greeting, our primary server Adam. Such a creative prix fix menu. Loved mini tour of kitchen. Definitely woth its Michelin star. Would be a must come back when we return to Napa Valley next time.

This establishment sets the bar very high for unique lodging in a place such as Napa Valley. From the responsive service to the impeccable detail provided for each guest, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although everything about this hotel feels luxury, for the high price of $1800 I have paid I wouldn't stay for the base room. Sure, there are activities and the rooms are good, but I can get a cheaper resort at a Ritz-Carlton for the same exact experience. Four Seasons always up charges for no reason, for a not so luxe experience. Highly recommend Ritz-Carlton or JW Marriott.
