As a mother with three small children, I lived this history through newspapers and radio. Back then, the incidents were horrifying, but I did not have the big picture. This tour unified the events I read and heard about through onsite experiences with commentary, art, and museums, some with simulations. The tour bus was comfortable with an accommodating driver. Antonia and Taylor provided our group with an insightful experience through the Civil Rights District. They were warm, knowledgeable and passionate about telling the story of the people who lived, worked , played and advocated for their rights both in the past and today. We wrapped up with a visit at a local small business, Fly V. Highly recommend joining Freedom Line on a tour!
