Cindy and the Fundamental team completely rocked it and played an instrumental role in creating the wedding day of our dreams! From the very first call, Cindy was extremely responsive, helpful in providing guidance and feedback and endlessly upbeat and supportive of our big day. Candidly, we were so blown away at our tasting by how delicious the food was (I think we had resigned ourselves to the fact that surely wedding catering couldn't be more than OK), and the most impressive thing was that the food tasted just as outstanding (if not better) on the wedding day itself! Fundamental's consistency and commitment to excellence was evident in every interaction with them, and it really showed when it was time for them to execute on the vision we had created together. During and after the wedding, we received SO many compliments on the food, drinks and service, and we owe that to Cindy, Ryan (the lead captain the day of our wedding) and Ryan's team who worked our wedding. We cannot recommend Fundamental highly enough and are so thankful to have had them in our corner.

I am an event planner in Los Angeles and worked with Fundamental over the past several months while planning my clients wedding. I cannot say enough good things! Lauren was a huge help every step of the way with making sure we had everything we needed for the wedding at Lombardi House in Hollywood. I had a million questions and she answered each one of them with detail and in a timely manner.

On the event day, everything was very smooth. The team arrived on time to set up and executed the day as planned. Everyone was helpful and accommodating to my team as well as the other vendors. They were on top of everything which allowed me to focus on other areas of the day.

Guests raved about the food! We had paella, taco, and pizza stations with everything made fresh on site. My clients were so happy with everything!

I look forward to my next event with Fundamental!

We worked with Fundamental for our wedding last weekend at the Grass Room and would highly recommend! Trying to find a caterer for a wedding is pretty stressful and involved process, as you have to do initials calls with tons of businesses before they send pricing information, etc. From the start, Fundamental was super friendly and easy to work with. We loved their menu options and pricing. We attended a tasting and loved the special touches they added (personalized menus, florals, sent us with desserts to go)! We were really blown away by the food and made our decision without attending any other tastings. Fundamental was a preferred vendor recommended by our venue, so that also made us feel super confident. We heard from both Grass Room staff and Pop the Champagne (coordinating company) staff how great the Fundamental team is to work with! We didn't realize how many details would need to be discussed around catering for a wedding, but Lauren and Jessica broke it down into manageable emails. They checked in with us along the way and were always there when we had questions. Day of, the Fundamental staff were so friendly! Our coordinator also said that the Fundamental lead on site was amazing to work with behind the scenes. Many guests told us how much they enjoyed the food! The grazing tables, passed apps, the whole dinner, and the late night snacks were all a hit! The bartenders also did a great job! Overall, we are super happy we went with Fundamental and would definitely recommend to others!

Cindy and her team far exceeded any expectations we had for our wedding meal. They were so professional and communicative throughout the entire wedding planning process. Cindy is truly the easiest person to work with, she is down-to-earth and understanding. Our tasting was fantastic, and the selections we made were just as great served at the wedding. Our guests raved about the food and the service. WOW their team is amazing. Every person that was there on our wedding day was so fantastic. I can’t recommend working with the Fundamental Events team on your big day enough. 10/10 experience, thank you Fundamental Events for making our big day so memorable!! (and for the box of sweet treats they made sure to send us home with!)

Our wedding guests continue to say the food was a top highlight weeks after our wedding at the SmogShoppe! The menu was elevated, modern Mexican fare to go with our Oaxaca-inspired wedding. Had the absolute best experience working with Lauren and team. We also used Fundamental for the bar and they were professional and always made sure we had one of our signature drinks available to us, which honestly was so nice. HIGHLY recommend!
