We loved working with Alegria and the entire Gala Events and Weddings team! My husband and I started our wedding planning journey with Alegria's venue tour. If you don't have a venue picked out we absolutely recommend this service, as Alegria is very knowledgeable with the venues around Humboldt county and made the day so much fun! We found our dream venue from this tour and enjoyed working with Alegria so much that we booked the month and day-of package. Alegria was able to take over during the last month of our planning to make sure everything came together seamlessly. The day of the wedding was truly amazing! The timeline made the day stress free and we were really able to take it all in and celebrate getting married! We highly recommend Alegria!

I was very happy to pass off most of the mental energy to Alegria for the month before and day of our wedding, and she even helped us secure a vendor who hadn’t initially answered my emails/calls.
Alegria and her team were great on our wedding day, they brought the muscle and positive energy, hauling and arranging SO many heavy tables and chairs on the big day. Best of all, I was able to fully relax, be present, and enjoy our wedding day :] she also helped us write and design the ceremony which turned out so beautiful. Thank you Alegria for everything!

I cannot recommend Gala Events & Weddings highly enough. My husband and I recently got married at the Eagle House in Eureka. As we started planning our wedding, we realized we would need to get some professional help. Hiring a coordinator was a bit of a stretch for our budget, but we decided it was worth it. We hired Alegria Sita and her team at Gala Events & Weddings for the Piece of Cake (month + day of event management) package and we also hired Alegria to be our officiant.
Alegria went above and beyond from the beginning. She was in touch sharing reminders and resources from early on, well before the month prior to the wedding. As the wedding date neared, she led us through the final steps in the planning process and took over communications with our vendors. We were impressed with her experience, connections, and ability to get things done. She knew most of our vendors and was able to communicate with them quickly and easily, which greatly facilitated the process of finalizing our arrangements. As our officiant, Alegria worked with us to plan and tailor our ceremony according to our needs.
On the day of the wedding, Alegria and her team took care of everything. Her staff was unobtrusive and efficient, working behind the scenes and taking care of everything to perfection. They ensured that my family, friends, husband, and I could enjoy ourselves. I felt like a queen for the day and I loved it.
In general, we found Alegria and her staff to be extremely organized, professional, and delightful to work with. I would recommend Gala Events & Weddings to anyone.

My husband and I got the Month + Day of Event Management Package from Gala Events and Weddings for our wedding we had in May. Throughout the entire process Alegria has been extremely professional, timely, detailed, communicative, creative, accommodating, and flexible. It meant the world to my husband and I that we were able to relax on the day of our wedding and know that everything was being handled by Alegria and her team. On the day of the wedding Alegria helped us keep to our busy schedule and created a smooth timeline for our special day. We are so thankful to have had Alegria's help, she did an amazing job executing our vision and we highly recommend her services! 🙂

Alegria Is absolutely amazing. I hired her to be my officiant and day of wedding director. From the start of her services I new I couldn’t pull my wedding off without her. She is very professional and easy to work with. She made me feel so important on this very important day. My fiancé and I did a DIY wedding and if I would not have hired Alegria I can honestly say too much would have been over looked and mistakes made. When I woke up the day of my wedding I new I had nothing to worry about. My ceremony was so beautiful and that was all Alegria. She helped create the ceremony I was looking for with her experience and dedication.

I highly recommend Gala Events and Weddings! As mother of the bride, hiring Alegria made this wedding SO much easier on me than my other daughter's wedding a few years ago that I organized pretty much on my own. Alegria kept us on a schedule and handled so many details, came up with some wonderful, imaginative ideas and menus as well as serving choices, and she interacted with vendors and service people so I didn't have to. She took particular care to go over details with the staff at the wedding site. We met every couple of weeks to plan our event, and Alegria managed the rehearsal as well as the wedding. I felt relaxed and confident knowing she was there to make sure everything was taken care of that we had planned, and the rehearsal, wedding, and reception all turned out perfectly!
