One of the best places in northern California to ride. A bit rocky, not so much for beginners. Trails are very well marked. Lots of parking.

One of the best places to ride a dirtbike. Most of the trails are not for the beginners but there are some green trails where you can learn how to ride. Staging area is well taken care of and the road is paved to it. You can also bring RV's around and camp.

My wife and I went to the trails up here at Georgetown OHV, and it was just OK. The trails seem to focus more on dirt bikes than anything else, and their signs are not all correct. Some of the trails that say they are for multiple types of OHV's are definitely only for dirt bikes. The bathrooms were clean at least and plenty of shady parts to park. You can camp, which is great, and the trails overall are fun, but definitely for more experienced riders for the most part or dirt bikes.

50 mile loop trail 9, 10 & a few in between. Rode down Rock Lobster just to ride up Rock Lobster. Clearing trails along the way. Blessed and highly favored.

Amazing place to go ride! Trails range from easiest to advanced. Great riding and great camping. Only thing I had a issue with is I went over the weekend and it rained the Friday before I left, there is a 48 hour dry period after rain or snow so just make sure it’s open through the forest service website to be sure it’s actually open

It's a place where you can push your limits and experience the thrill of tackling demanding terrain. Georgetown is undoubtedly provides an outstanding off-road experience, but there is one area that could use improvement: trail markers. While the trail system is diverse and exciting, better trail markers are needed. It's easy to lose track of which trail you're on, which can lead to some confusion. Clearer and more frequent trail markers would make navigating the area much easier and enhance the overall experience for riders.

Variety of trails to make various loops. Some fairly technical sections (and erosion). Rock Lobster to challenge yourself and Flume for a scenic single track view
