Unforgettable Experience!!
Get Up and Go Kayaking at Merritts Mill Pond exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, everything was smooth, friendly, and well-organized. Our tour guide was Elijah, and he was INCREDIBLE!! He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and funny—the perfect balance you want out of a two-hour tour! The crystal-clear kayaks were in excellent condition!

The pond itself is stunning—crystal-clear waters, peaceful surroundings, and an amazing variety of wildlife. We paddled through the towering cypress trees and were able to swim at all the stops!! I was staying right on the pond and if it wasn’t for this guided tour, I wouldn’t have known the rich history or all of the spring locations!!

We cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Ehren is a terrific tour guide!!! A+++ He's knowledgeable and knows so much about the flora and fauna of the area. He's super nice and very helpful, too.

The clear kayaks are wonderful. You can literally see the bottom of the springs. The white sand, the limestone, eel grass and the one I can’t remember that rhymes with gorilla. LOL!

We saw so many different birds and fish and learned all about them as well as some history of Merritts Mill Pond.

I highly recommend this tour and Ehren!!! 10 stars!!

What a phenomenal experience to see the most beautiful parts of Florida up close! I brought my two young daughters who had minimal paddling experience and we all felt so comfortable on trip. Ehren was the best tour guide and you could tell he genuinely just loves being out on the water. He patiently answered every question my daughters had and pointed out all the incredible wildlife we passed. We can’t wait to come back again!

The best eco tour, Elijah was our guide today and he made the entire trip so educational and relaxed. He is very knowledgable and eager to answer any questions. I love the history he gave, which just added to the color of the whole experience. The pond is awesome as well, we will definitely be back!

Our guide Elijah was awesome! Very knowledgeable and took us around to several different areas! I learned quite a bit about the ecology within the spring! The water truly is as clear as it looks!! It’s stunning!

We went on a family kayaking trip and Joseph was our guide. He was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. He showed us all the beauty of Merritt’s Mill and the springs and explained everything very well. He was very patient with those in the group who needed extra help. Our tour guide, Elijah, was very knowledgeable and kind! He helped make the experience more enjoyable and even better than we could have imagined! It was almost like we were reliving history! We also got to see many beautiful birds and know all about them! I definitely recommend going! Especially when it starts to get a little chilly out like 50-60 degrees about 9am so it’s not crowded and more peaceful! Elijah also gave us a few recommendations on places to eat! We’re so thankful !
