We took the "Sip N' Cycle" ride through wine country in Calistoga, CA. Our guide, Alex was excellent. He provided interesting backgrounds and history of many of the wineries in the region. We visited two vineyards with tasting flights. Both were very good. I definitely recommend this adventure.

We rented road bikes and did one of the intermediate routes - Lake Sonoma Overlook. Once there I got a flat at the top so we stopped at the Ranch at Lake Sonoma for beers. I called the store and they were there immediately with a completely new bike (instead of changing the tire) so we didn’t lose time on the road! We had a great lunch at Dry Creek General Store and then went to a winery close to town to wrap up. It was a great way to see the vineyards and wineries up close and personal. And you couldn't beat the weather and scenery. I highly recommend it!

Randy and Max were excellent to deal with. Good quality bikes, very accommodating and helpful. Made certain we were well equipped for a three day cycling adventure.

Our guide Rauno had a pretty good depth of knowledge on the area, having lived there for many years. The bikes were the perfect match for people looking for exercise when desired but with a little assistance. The e-bikes were lighter than most so we could pedal unassisted, but also had varying levels of electric pickup that were color coded so you could understand what was happening with the bike. We picked two stops and tastings, which was perfect for us because we wanted to bike a little extra ways down the road and exercise, but also not sprint or rush. The service to bring the wine back and provide lunch was also really useful and well executed by our guide and the driver Holly. Big thanks to the whole team at Getaway Adventures!

Rented e-bikes for a day of riding through wine country on the route they recommended (West Dry Creek Road). It was awesome! The bikes were very nice (Specialized). These were the nicest e-bikes I've ever rented. The ride was beautiful! That staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

We rented two electric bikes for a day and had a great experience. Bikes were nice, staff friendly. They provided a nice map with the recommended routes and details about where to pick up a picnic and which wineries would allow us to bring our own food. We did the Dry Creek route out and back and it was great. Quiet and picturesque road and three vineyards to visit. We stopped at Martorana which really pretty and had delicious wine. Highly recommend!

This is an update of my original review of 2 stars. The owner contacted me because he wanted to know what went wrong. He listened to my feedback and offered to personally take us on another bike tour the next time we were in town. That's great customer service! My original concerns were that we paid for a guided bike and kayak tour, but there was no tour. It felt like we just biked and kayaked in equipment we rented, and didn't go too far. The guides were very nice and seemed informed but they didn't share any information about the area. I had emailed the company before booking the tour and told them we weren't interested in lots of vineyard stops. I wished they would have recommended a different tour because they have many. While this was still a beautiful day in nature and on the river, I would recommend choosing a different tour than this one.

Bike rentals (ebikes) were perfect on a beautiful fall day and Gracianna winery was lovely. The kayak rental wasn't as smooth. Guide Jared was very personable. We had two kayaks and mine had two leaks in the rear seams and also was missing the front plug. We were taking on water from the start and only after we were halfway through and having water come over the gunwales and complained to our guide did he take notice. We were able to beach after a while without dumping it and then swapped boats and made it back safely but this could and should have been avoided.
